ロポキシ)ヘキサン−1,2−ジオール、1,1,1−トリス−[(2’−ヒドロキシエ
トキシ)−メチル]−エタン、1,1,1−トリス−[(2’−ヒドロキシプロポキシ)
−メチル]−プロパン,1,1,1−トリス−(4’−ヒドロキシフェニル)−エタン、
1,1,1−トリス−(ヒドロキシフェニル)−プロパン、1,1,3−トリス−(ジヒドロキシ−3−メチルフェニル)−プロパン、1,1,4−トリス−(ジヒドロキシフェニル)−ブタン、1,1,5−トリス(ヒドロキシフェニル)−3−メチルペンタン、ジ−トリメチロプロパン、トリメチロールプロパンエトキシレート、またはトリメチロールプロパンプロポキシレートを含むがこれらに限定されない、米国第2010/0029819 A1号により開示され、これらの教示が本明細書に組み込まれるような糖アルコールを含むがこれらに限定されないポリオール;かつシクロデキストリン、D−マンノース、グルコース、ガラクトース、ショ糖、果糖、キシロース、アラビノース、D−マンニトール、D−ソルビトール、D−またはL−アラビトール、キシリトール、イジトール、タリトール、アリトール、アルトリトール、ギルトール(guilitol)、エリスリトール、トレイトール、及びD−グロン−y−ラクトンなどのサッカライドが含まれるが、これらに限定されない。
実施例1:繊維生成
紡糸後、FITRにより、表面部分に関して管を分析した。結果は、1037cm−1ピークが、DPE濃度の増加とともに増加したことを示した。加えて、繊維を反応性染料で処理した。MPE及びTPEを、実験台規模超小型配合機を使用して加工した。純添加剤の粉末状添加及びDPEのポリマーマスターバッチの両方を使用した。マスターバッチは、容易な取扱いを提供しただけであったが、追加の加工の有益性は提供しなかった(活性剤のより大きい濃度は達成されなかった)。MPE及びTPEについては、粉末形態のみを使用した。混合を改善するために、半分の小丸をまず、機器中に供給し、続いて所望される量の粉末状活性剤を供給し、最後に、残りの小丸を添加した。混合物を溶融し、15rpmで5分間、265℃で再循環した。繊維が押し出される際、紡糸口金温度を、260℃に設定した。この手法を使用して、MPEは加工されて5%の活性剤で管上に紡糸することができたが、5%のTPEは、DPEと同じ問題を有した。最大TPE濃度は決定されなかった。

Claims (18)
- 熱可塑性繊維であって、
熱可塑性ポリマーと、
前記繊維の表面上に改質基及び/または反応性基をもたらす、前記熱可塑性繊維中に存在する添加剤と、
前記繊維の表面上の前記改質基及び/または反応性基と化学的または物理的に会合される局所処理剤及び/または染料と、を含み、
前記添加剤が、ポリオールである、熱可塑性繊維。 - 前記繊維の前記表面の前記改質基及び/または反応性基が、ヒドロキシル基を含む、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性繊維。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーが、ポリアミド、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、及びそれらの組み合わせ、ならびに/またはそれらのコポリマーからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性繊維。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーが、ポリアミドである、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性繊維。
- 前記ポリアミドが、ナイロン6,6である、請求項4に記載の熱可塑性繊維。
- 前記ポリオールが、ペンタエリスリトール(MPE)、ジペンタエリスリトール(DPE)、トリペンタエリスリトール(TPE)、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性繊維。
- 前記添加剤が、0.03重量%〜10重量%の範囲で組み込まれる、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性繊維。
- 前記添加剤が、前記繊維の前記表面を改質して、増強された汚れ抵抗性を付与する、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性繊維。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマー中の酸性染料部を無効にすることができる染み防止添加剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性繊維。
- 前記染み防止添加剤が、1〜10重量パーセントの範囲で存在する、請求項9に記載の熱可塑性繊維。
- 前記染み防止添加剤が、芳香族スルホン酸塩またはそれらのアルカリ金属塩である、請求項9に記載の熱可塑性繊維。
- 前記繊維が、改善された染み抵抗性を有し、前記添加剤が、前記繊維の前記表面を改質して、増強された汚れ抵抗性を付与する、請求項9に記載の熱可塑性繊維。
- 前記添加剤が、2重量%未満の範囲で組み込まれる、請求項12に記載の熱可塑性繊維。
- 製造物品であって、その少なくとも一部が、請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の前記熱可塑性繊維を含む、製造物品。
- 前記物品が、絨毯、敷物、または布である、請求項14に記載の製造物品。
- 改質された及び/または反応性表面を有する熱可塑性繊維を製造するための方法であって、ポリマー溶融状態の間、熱可塑性ポリマーに、改質された及び/または反応性表面をもたらす添加剤を組み込むことと、前記繊維の表面上の前記改質基及び/または反応性基に局所処理剤及び/または染料を化学的または物理的に会合させることと、を含み、前記添加剤が、ポリオールである、方法。
- 熱可塑性繊維の汚れ抵抗性を増強させるための方法であって、ポリマー溶融状態の間、熱可塑性ポリマーに、改質された及び/または反応性表面をもたらす添加剤を組み込むことと、前記繊維の表面上の前記改質基及び/または反応性基に局所処理剤及び/または染料を化学的または物理的に会合させることと、を含み、前記添加剤が、ポリオールである、方法。
- 熱可塑性繊維の染み及び汚れ抵抗性を増強させるための方法であって、ポリマー溶融状態の間、熱可塑性ポリマーに、酸性染料部を無効にすることができる染み防止添加剤、ならびに改質された及び/または反応性表面をもたらす添加剤を組み込むことと、前記繊維の表面上の前記改質基及び/または反応性基に局所処理剤及び/または染料を化学的または物理的に会合させることと、を含み、前記添加剤が、ポリオールである、方法。
