Claims (15)
- 炭素母材と、
前記炭素母材の表面上に形成される平均結晶粒の大きさが10μmから50μmであるTaCを含むコーティング層と、
を含み、
前記TaCを含むコーティング層は、XRD分析のX線回折によって発生する(111)面の回折ピーク値対比(200)面の回折ピーク値の比が0.40以下であり、
前記TaCを含むコーティング層は、XRD分析のX線回折によって発生するピーク値のうち、(111)面のピーク値が最大である、TaCを含み、
前記TaCを含むコーティング層が、CVD法を用いて形成されてなる、コーティング層を有する炭素材料。 - 前記CVD法が、1500℃以上の温度による、請求項1に記載のコーティング層を有する炭素材料。
- 前記TaCを含むコーティング層の表面硬度は、15GPa以上であり、
前記TaCを含むコーティング層の表面硬度は、下記の数式(1)によるものである、請求項1又は2に記載のTaCを含んでいるコーティング層を有する炭素材料。
表面硬度値(GPa)=−38A 2 +12A+14から17 (1)
A:XRD分析時にTaCを含むコーティング層の(200)面の回折ピーク値/(111)面の回折ピーク値 - 前記TaCを含むコーティング層は、XRD分析の回折線の半値幅が0.15°以下である、請求項1又は2に記載のTaCを含んでいるコーティング層を有する炭素材料。
- 前記TaCを含むコーティング層は、表面スクラッチの試験値が3.5N以上である、請求項1又は2に記載のTaCを含んでいるコーティング層を有する炭素材料。
- 前記炭素母材は、前記炭素母材の表面から深度80μmから150μmまでの領域のTaCの含量が15体積%から20体積%である、請求項1又は2に記載のTaCを含んでいるコーティング層を有する炭素材料。
- 前記TaCを含むコーティング層の表面スクラッチ値は、下記の数式(2)によるものである、請求項1又は2に記載のTaCを含んでいるコーティング層を有する炭素材料。
表面スクラッチ値(N)=前記炭素母材の表面から80μmから150μmまでの領域のTaCの含量(体積%)×(1.4から1.6)−19.5 (2) - 前記炭素母材の熱膨張係数は、7.0×10−6/Kから7.5×10−6/Kである、請求項1又は2に記載のTaCを含んでいるコーティング層を有する炭素材料。
- 炭素母材を備えるステップと、
前記炭素母材上に1500℃以上の温度でCVD法を用いてTaCを含むコーティング層を形成するステップと、
を含む、請求項1に記載のTaCを含んでいるコーティング層を有する炭素材料の製造方法。 - 前記TaCを含むコーティング層を形成するステップの後に、1800℃以上の温度で熱処理するステップをさらに含む、請求項9に記載のTaCを含んでいるコーティング層を有する炭素材料の製造方法。
- 前記TaCを含むコーティング層を形成するステップと前記熱処理するステップとの間に冷却するステップをさらに含む、請求項10に記載のTaCを含んでいるコーティング層を有する炭素材料の製造方法。
- 前記TaCを含むコーティング層を形成するステップは、前記TaCを含んでいるコーティング層を有する炭素材料の必要な表面硬度値に応じてTaCを含むコーティング層が下記の数式(1)を満足する(111)面の回折ピーク値対比(200)面の回折ピーク値を有するように形成する、請求項9に記載のTaCを含んでいるコーティング層を有する炭素材料の製造方法。

表面スクラッチ値(N)=前記炭素母材の表面から80μmから150μmまでの領域のTaCの含量(体積%)×(1.4から1.6)−19.5 (2) - 前記炭素母材を備えるステップは、平均気孔率が15体積%から20体積%である炭素母材を備えることを含む、請求項9に記載のTaCを含んでいるコーティング層を有する炭素材料の製造方法。
- 前記炭素母材を備えるステップは、熱膨張係数が7.0×10−6/Kから7.5×10−6/Kである炭素母材を備えることを含む、請求項9に記載のTaCを含んでいるコーティング層を有する炭素材料の製造方法。
