Description
Claims (10)
- 空気注入弁を有する空気式タイヤに空気を注入して封止する装置であって、
a.第1の端部および第2の端部を有する気密チューブ(601)と、
b.前記空気式タイヤの前記空気注入弁に動作可能に接続でき、前記気密チューブの前記第1の端部か、前記第2の端部か、または前記端部の両方に着脱可能に接続される少なくとも1つの密閉接続器(6000)と、
c.前記第1の端部か、第2の端部か、または前記少なくとも1つの密閉接続器に接続される圧力源と、
d.前記気密チューブ内に収容される封止剤スライムと、
を含み、
前記気密チューブは、前記気密チューブ内において前記封止剤スライムの繊維を整列させるのに十分な長さの流路にわたって一定の断面を有し、前記密閉接続器は、前記チューブの端部と前記空気注入弁との間における断面が急な変化なく漸次的な変化を維持し、さらに前記流路は、流れに対し乱流、繊維の蓄積又は局所的圧力を誘発させるような狭窄がなく、前記気密チューブの少なくとも1つの端部の内径は、前記空気式タイヤの前記空気注入弁の内径と等しく、それにより、層流での前記封止剤スライムの移送を可能にし、さらにそれによって、前記封止剤スライムの繊維、ならびに他の固体および半固体材料が前記流れの方向に整列し、詰まることなく前記空気注入弁を確実に通過する助けとなることを特徴とし、
さらに、前記封止剤スライムは、前記密閉接続器又は前記気密チューブを早期に詰まらせることなく注入でき、前記空気式タイヤの空気注入弁コアを取り外すことなく、前記空気式タイヤに空気を注入して封止することができ、
さらに、前記空気式タイヤには、加圧ガスおよび封止剤スライムを連続して注入することができることを特徴とする、装置。 - 前記空気式タイヤに圧縮ガスを注入するように構成された前記圧縮ガスのキャニスタをさらに設けた、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記密閉接続器は逆止弁を含み、それにより、運搬時に前記封止剤スライム用の密閉空洞を維持し、それにより、可搬性および漏れ防止性であるのを可能にする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記密閉接続器は、ばねを含む一方向弁を特徴とし、さらに、前記圧力源が、走行状態を維持する必要がある自動車タイヤである場合で、前記圧力源からの圧力が24psi未満の場合に、前記ばねは、前記一方向弁の開放を妨げることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記密閉接続器と前記圧力源との間を接続する圧力制限要素をさらに含み、それにより、圧力を制限する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記封止剤スライムは、少なくとも1つの前記密閉接続器を用いて、1つの前記第1の端部と1つの前記第2の端部との相互連結により、前記装置の内部に保持される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 空気注入弁を有する空気式タイヤに空気を注入して封止する装置であって、流動チューブを備え、前記流動チューブは、
a.第1の端部および第2の端部を有する気密チューブ(3103)と、
b.前記空気式タイヤの前記空気注入弁に動作可能に接続できる1つの密閉接続器(3104)と、
c.空気式接続器を有する封止剤キャニスタ(3101)と、
d.前記封止剤キャニスタ内に収容される封止剤スライムと、
e.じょうご部(3102)と、
f.前記封止剤キャニスタに接続される圧力源と、を含み、
前記封止剤キャニスタに加圧ガスが付与されて前記封止剤スライムが前記じょうご部を介して前記チューブ内に流入され、前記じょうご部の横方向の径は漸次的に変化することにより、前記封止剤スライムの早期の重合を引き起こす局所的な高圧ポイントを防止し、前記気密チューブは、流路にわたって、前記気密チューブ内において前記封止剤スライムの繊維を整列させるのに十分な一定の断面を有し、前記密閉接続器は、前記チューブの端部と前記空気注入弁との間における断面が急な変化がなく漸次的な変化を維持し、さらに前記流路は、流れに対し乱流、繊維の蓄積又は局所的圧力を誘発させるような狭窄がなく、前記気密チューブの1つの端部の内径は、前記空気式タイヤの前記空気注入弁の内径と等しく、それにより、層流での前記封止剤スライムの移送を可能にし、さらにそれによって、前記封止剤スライムの繊維、ならびに他の固体および半固体材料が前記流れの方向に整列し、詰まることなく前記空気注入弁を確実に通過する助けとなることを特徴とし、
さらに、前記封止剤スライムは、前記密閉接続器又は前記気密チューブを早期に詰まらせることなく注入でき、前記空気式タイヤの空気注入弁コアを取り外すことなく、前記空気式タイヤに空気を注入して封止することができ、
さらに、前記空気式タイヤには、加圧ガスおよび封止剤スライムを連続して注入することができることを特徴とする、装置。 - 前記じょうご部及び前記キャニスタは、単体として構成され、前記封止剤スライムはその単体中に収容される、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記装置はさらに、前記空気式タイヤの前記空気注入弁コアがない場合、前記封止剤を移送するように構成された、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記封止剤スライムは、前記封止剤キャニスタ、前記じょうご部及び前記気密チューブ内に収容される、請求項7又は8に記載の装置。
