Claims (4)
- 間接加熱方式のロータリーキルンにて木質系バイオマスを炭化処理する炭化炉と、該炭化炉の炭化処理に伴って生じる木ガスを燃焼分解する熱風発生炉と、該熱風発生炉にて生じた熱風を前記炭化炉の外筒に供給する熱風供給ダクトとを備えると共に、該熱風供給ダクトを途中で分岐し、その一方の分岐ダクトを前記炭化炉外筒のバイオマス供給側端部に接続する一方、他方の分岐ダクトを排出側端部に接続し、各分岐ダクトには流路開閉用のダンパーを開閉自在に備え、前記炭化炉のバイオマス供給側の内筒温度に基づいて前記各ダンパーを手動または自動にて開閉制御し、前記内筒温度が所定温度未満の場合は熱風の流れを炭化炉内のバイオマスの流下方向に対して並流方向に、前記内筒温度が所定温度以上の場合は熱風の流れを向流方向に切り替える運転制御器を備えたことを特徴とする木質系バイオマスの炭化処理装置。
- 前記熱風発生炉下流の熱風温度を所定温度に維持する熱風温度調整手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の木質系バイオマスの炭化処理装置。
- 前記熱風温度調整手段は、前記炭化炉から導出する木ガスと外気供給ファンから供給する外気とを熱交換させて木ガス中に含まれる高沸点のタール成分の一部を凝縮させて分離回収可能とする空冷熱交換器と、前記外気供給ファンの外気供給量を調整して熱風発生炉でのタール燃焼量を調整制御するタール燃焼量制御器とからなることを特徴とする請求項2記載の木質系バイオマスの炭化処理装置。
- 請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載の木質系バイオマスの炭化処理装置の運転方法であって、運転開始時には熱風発生炉にて発生する熱風の流れを炭化炉内のバイオマスの流下方向に対して並流方向として炭化炉を加熱し、炭化炉のバイオマス供給側の内筒温度が所定温度以上となれば、前記熱風発生炉にて発生する熱風の流れをバイオマスの流下方向に対して向流方向となるように切り替えた後、バイオマスを炭化炉内に供給して炭化処理することを特徴とする木質系バイオマスの炭化処理方法。
