例えば、下記特許文献1には、半管体の周方向の両端に沿って延在されたフランジ同士を接合して形成された管状体が開示されている。
本発明によれば、一方の半管状部における接線方向に延出されて他の部位よりも拡径部となる内周側部位を、他方の半管状部に設けられた突片部によって埋めることができ、管状体内において圧力損失が生じるようなことを抑制することができる。
本発明によれば、2つの半管状部の接合部が接続フランジ部に位置しないので、接続フランジ部の接続対象側に向く面における段差等の発生を抑制することができる。
本実施形態に係る管状体1は、図1及び図2に示すように、径方向に分割された2つの半管状部10,20同士が接合され、ボルト孔17bが設けられた接続フランジ部17を少なくとも一端部に有した構成とされている。本実施形態では、管状体1は、軸方向一端部に第1接続フランジ部17を設け、軸方向他端部に第2接続フランジ部19を設けた構成とされている。つまり、管状体1は、軸方向(長手方向)両端部のそれぞれに接続フランジ部17,19を設けた構成とされている。
この管状体1は、気体や液体等の種々の流体を流通させる管路として配設されるものでもよい。例えば、この管状体1を、エンジン冷却水管やインテークマニホールド等として自動車等の車両に用いられるものとしてもよい。また、管状体1としては、このような車両用に限られず、例えば、ガス等の設備機器や、水回り設備機器の配管等として用いられるものでもよい。
これら接続フランジ部17,19は、第1半管状部10の軸方向の各端部の周縁部から径方向に突出するように設けられている。また、これら接続フランジ部17,19は、第1半管状部10の軸方向の各端部の周縁部の全周に亘って設けられたものでもよく、周縁部の一部に設けられたものでもよい。本実施形態では、図3(a)に示すように、これら接続フランジ部17,19を、これらの厚さ方向(第1半管状部10の各端部における軸方向(開口方向))に見て、外郭形状が略方形状とされたものとしている。
なお、これら接続フランジ部17,19のボルト孔17a,17a,17b,19a,19aは、インサート成形等によって埋込状に設けられた金属製筒部材によって構成されたものでもよい。
また、これら半管状部10,20の周方向両側のうちの少なくとも一方側のそれぞれの接合突部13,23は、これらが突き合わせられて形成される接合部3が接続フランジ部17のボルト孔17b近傍の所定範囲においてボルト孔17bに挿通されるボルト7を締結する工具に干渉しないように中心軸5を通る半割仮想面6からずれるように屈曲されている。
本実施形態では、軸方向中央部位の直管状部において接続対象側に沿うように設けられた第1接合部2を、軸方向の全体に亘って半割仮想面6に応じた位置となるように設けた構成としている。つまり、この第1接合部2を構成する各半管状部10,20の第1接合突部12,22は、互いの突き合わせ面が軸方向の全体に亘って半割仮想面6に略一致するように設けられている。
また、軸方向中央部位の直管状部において反接続対象側に沿うように設けられた第2接合部3を、第1接続フランジ部17の近傍部位において半割仮想面6からずらすように屈曲させた構成としている。つまり、本実施形態では、第1接続フランジ部17の反第2接続フランジ部側の角部に設けられたボルト孔17bに挿通されるボルト7を締結する工具に干渉しないように、第2接合部3を、第1接続フランジ部17の近傍部位において半割仮想面6からずらすように屈曲させた構成としている。
第1接続フランジ部17側の鍔状部16は、周方向一端部が第1接合突部12に連なるように設けられ、周方向他端部が第2接合突部13のフランジ側部位14に連なるように設けられている。第2接続フランジ部19側の鍔状部18は、周方向一端部が第1接合突部12に連なるように設けられ、周方向他端部が第2接合突部13に連なるように設けられている。
また、上記のような構成とされた管状体1は、半管状部10,20を一次成形品としてそれぞれ成形した後に、一方を他方に対してスライドさせて、軸方向両端部の接合部及び周方向両側の接合部2,3に沿うように接合樹脂(二次樹脂)4を充填して成形する、いわゆるDSI(ダイスライドインジェクション)成形等によって成形されたものでもよい。また、管状体1を構成する半管状部10,20同士は、二次樹脂としての接合樹脂4を介して接合されたものに限られず、接着剤や、熱板溶着、振動溶着、超音波溶着、レーザー溶着等の種々の接合態様によって接合されたものでもよい。
つまり、径方向に分割された2つの半管状部10,20の周方向両縁部に設けられた接合突部12,13,22,23同士が突き合わせられて接合部2,3が形成されるので、このような接合突部12,13,22,23を設けていないものと比べて接合強度を向上させることができる。
また、第2半管状部20の凹ませられた周方向縁部の内周側に、第1半管状部10の接線方向に延出された延出部位15の内周面に沿うように配され、かつこれら半管状部10,20の他の部位の内周面に連なるような内周面を構成する突片部25を設けた構成としている。従って、第1半管状部10における接線方向に延出されて他の部位よりも拡径部となる延出部位15の内周側部位を、第2半管状部20に設けられた突片部25によって埋めることができ、管状体1内において圧力損失が生じるようなことを抑制することができる。
なお、本実施形態では、半管状部10,20の第2接合突部13,23の第1接続フランジ部17側の部位を屈曲させた構成としているが、接続フランジ部17,19に設けられるボルト孔の位置等に応じて、他の部位を屈曲させた構成としてもよい。
また、本実施形態に係る管状体1を構成する各半管状部10,20及びこれらが接合されて形成される接合部2,3としては、上記のような構成とされたものに限られず、その他、種々の変形が可能である。例えば、上記のような突片部25を設けていない構成としてもよい。また、2つの半管状部10,20が軸方向両端側の接続フランジ部17,19において分割されたようなものでもよい。この場合、例えば、上記のような短筒部11a,11aを第1半管状部10の軸方向両端部に設けずに、軸方向両端側の鍔状部16,18を接続フランジ部17,19に一体的に設けた構成としてもよい。または、軸方向両端側の鍔状部16,18を接続フランジ部17,19の一部によって構成してもよい。つまり、第1半管状部10及び第2半管状部20を、接続フランジ部17,19において軸方向(接続フランジ部厚さ方向)に分割されたものとしてもよい。または、第1半管状部10及び第2半管状部20を、接続フランジ部17,19において径方向に分割されたものとしてもよく、その他、種々の変形が可能である。

Claims (3)
- 径方向に分割された2つの半管状部同士が接合され、ボルト孔が設けられた接続フランジ部を少なくとも一端部に有し、かつ該接続フランジ部に連なる近傍部位が直管状部とされた管状体であって、
前記2つの半管状部の周方向両縁部には、径方向に突出し軸方向に延びる接合突部が前記直管状部に至るように設けられており、
これら半管状部の周方向両側のうちの少なくとも一方側のそれぞれの接合突部は、これらが突き合わせられて形成される接合部が前記接続フランジ部のボルト孔近傍の所定範囲において該ボルト孔に挿通されるボルトを締結する工具に干渉しないように中心軸を通る半割仮想面からずれるように屈曲されていることを特徴とする管状体。 - 請求項1において、
前記接合突部の屈曲された部位は、前記2つの半管状部のうちの一方の半管状部の周方向縁部を他の部位よりも接線方向に延出させ、かつ他方の半管状部の周方向縁部を他の部位よりも周方向に凹ませるようにして形成されており、
前記他方の半管状部の凹ませられた周方向縁部の内周側には、前記一方の半管状部の接線方向に延出された部位の内周面に沿うように配され、かつこれら半管状部の他の部位の内周面に連なるような内周面を構成する突片部が設けられていることを特徴とする管状体。 - 請求項1または2において、
前記接続フランジ部は、前記2つの半管状部のうちのいずれか一方の半管状部に一体的に設けられていることを特徴とする管状体。
