Description
(1) 反芻動物用飼料の製造方法であって、リグノセルロース材料を原料として液体中でパルプを得る工程、得られたパルプを加圧式の固液分離装置にて固液分離する工程、固液分離したパルプを含む飼料を調製する工程、を含む、上記方法。
(2) 固液分離装置による処理後のパルプの含水率が45質量%以上80質量%未満である、(1)に記載の方法。
(3) リグノセルロース材料が木質資源由来である、(1)または(2)に記載の方法。
(4) パルプがクラフトパルプである、(1)〜(3)のいずれかに記載の方法。
(5) 固液分離装置が、スクリュープレスおよび/またはフィルタープレスである、(1)〜(4)のいずれかに記載の方法。
(6) 固液分離装置にて処理したパルプを含水率15%以下まで乾燥する工程をさらに含む、(1)〜(5)のいずれかに記載の方法。
(7) 固液分離装置を用いて多段階で固液分離を行う、(1)〜(6)のいずれかに記載の方法。
(8) 第1段目の固液分離によってパルプの含水率が50〜75質量%になるまで固液分離する、(7)に記載の方法。
(9) 抄紙機またはパルプマシンを用いて固液分離を行う、(1)〜(6)のいずれかに記載の方法。
(10) 抄紙機またはパルプマシンを用いて固液分離したパルプの含水率が15〜35質量%である、(9)に記載の方法。
(11) 固液分離したパルプをペレット化する工程をさらに含む、(1)〜(10)のいずれかに記載の方法。
(12) パルプペレットの含水率が15質量%以下である、(11)に記載の方法。
(13) ペレット化する前のパルプの含水率が15〜30質量%である、(11)または(12)に記載の方法。
本発明におけるパルプは、好ましい態様においてクラフトパルプを含み、特に好ましくは木材由来のクラフトパルプを含む。また、本発明のパルプはカッパー価が5以上15未満であることが好ましく、酸素脱リグニン処理したクラフトパルプを含むことが好ましい。

<サンプル1−1:圧搾クラフトパルプ>
ユーカリ材チップを用いて液体中でクラフトパルプを製造した。まず、ユーカリ材のチップ(絶乾300g相当)を耐圧釜に入れ、活性アルカリ添加率13.0%、硫化度25%、Hファクター830の条件にてクラフト蒸解を行って未晒クラフトパルプを得た(カッパー価:16.7、白色度:30.3%)。水道水で洗浄後、遠心脱水を行い、濃度30%のパルプを得た。
得られたクラフトパルプを濃度10%に調製後、O2添加率18kg/t、水酸化ナトリウム23kg/t、100℃、90分の条件にて酸素脱リグニン処理を行って酸素脱リグニン処理パルプを得た(カッパー価:8.5、ISO白色度:49.3%)。得たパルプをpH8.0以下になるまで水道水で洗浄後、遠心脱水を行った。その後、解繊処理を行いパルプ濃度20.6%の酸素脱リグニンパルプを得た。
得られた酸素脱リグニン処理パルプを、スクリュープレスにて圧搾して固液分離処理を行い、含水率72.1%の圧搾クラフトパルプを得た。
この圧搾クラフトパルプを角型バット(外形寸法:255mm×320mm×63mm)に置き、前日との重量誤差が1%未満になるまで風乾し、含水率7.1%のパルプを得た(サンプル1−1)。
上記圧搾パルプを、プレスペレッター(半乾式連続ペレット製造装置、チヨダマシナリー製)を用いてペレット化した後(直径9mm×長さ15mm)、風乾し含水率7.0%のパルプペレットを得た(サンプル1−2)。
圧搾処理を行っていない上記酸素脱リグニンパルプをそのまま風乾し含水率7.1%とした(サンプル1−3)。
上記未晒クラフトパルプ(濃度約10%)を、工場設備であるベルトプレスを用いて含水率62.1%まで脱水し、次いで、スクリュープレス(富国工業製、型式SHX−200)を用いて含水率26.9%まで脱水した(サンプル1−4)。
<サンプル1−5:抄紙機で処理された未晒クラフトパルプ>
上記未晒クラフトパルプを溶解パルパーにて濃度3%に調整した後、小型抄紙機にてシートを抄造した。抄紙工程は、ワイヤーパート、プレスパート、さらにドライヤーパートを含んで構成され、ドライヤーパートにおいて100℃程度に温度調節したドラムローラーの通過回数を調整することで、含水率17.7%、坪量123.5g/cm2のシートを得た。抄造したシートを10mm角に断裁して飼料サンプルとした(サンプル1−5)。
<サンプル1−6:風乾してからペレット化した未晒クラフトパルプ>
上記未晒クラフトパルプを含水率17.9%まで風乾し、このパルプをCPM社製ペレタイザーにてペレット成型し、含水率13.9%のパルプペレットを得た(サンプル1−6)。
実験1で得られた飼料サンプル(圧搾クラフトパルプ、風乾重量400mg)を、樹脂製サンプル瓶(50ml容)に正確に秤量した。pH4.8、セルラーゼ(商品名:102321 セルラーゼ オノズカ R−10、メルク株式会社製)0.1%を添加した懸濁液45mlを容器に添加し、45℃にて48時間糖化処理を行った。
実験1で製造したサンプルと市販の飼料(圧片トウモロコシおよびバミューダグラス乾草)について、ルーメン内における消化性を、in situ法で測定した(Nocek 1988)。
乳牛4頭(A、B、C、Dとする)に対し、実験1で製造した飼料(サンプル1−1、サンプル1−2、サンプル1−3)を300g(風乾重量)ずつ用意し、5分間自由摂食させた。給与は午前7時に行い、各飼料の置場は試験ごとに入れ替え、嗜好性試験を3回行った。
実験1のサンプルを105℃で恒量に達するまで乾燥した。その後、重量および体積を測定し容積重の測定を行った。
Claims (7)
- リグノセルロース材料を原料として液体中で、酸素脱リグニンしたクラフトパルプを得る工程、
得られたパルプを加圧式の固液分離装置にて固液分離して、パルプの含水率を45質量%以上80質量%未満にする工程、
固液分離したパルプを含水率15%以下まで乾燥して、パルプを含む飼料を調製する工程、
を含む、反芻動物用飼料の製造方法(ただし、反芻動物用飼料はペレット化された飼料ではない)。 - リグノセルロース材料が木質資源由来である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記クラフトパルプが、広葉樹を原料とするパルプである、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記クラフトパルプが、ユーカリを原料とするパルプである、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 固液分離装置が、スクリュープレスおよび/またはフィルタープレスである、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 固液分離装置を用いて多段階で固液分離を行う、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 第1段目の固液分離によってパルプの含水率が50〜75質量%になるまで固液分離する、請求項6に記載の方法。
