Description
Claims (17)
- 第1の直径の周面を形成するように膨らむことができ、且つ、延伸フルオロポリマーを含み巻き付けられたポリマー材料を含んでいる本体部分;
それぞれ前記第1の直径より小さい第2の直径を有する2か所のシール部分;及び
それぞれ前記第1の直径と前記第2の直径の間の移行を規定する2か所の肩部分、
を含むバルーンであって、
少なくとも1か所の肩部分は、肩部分の少なくとも一部に沿って、第1の直径と第2の直径の間の中間的な直径を超えて少なくとも1か所の肩部分が膨らむのを抑制するのに適した負荷分散部材を含んでおり、
前記少なくとも1か所の肩部分は、前記中間的な直径を有する1若しくは複数の円周状の段差部を含む階段状の形状を含み、かつ
前記少なくとも1か所の肩部分は、前記本体部分の周面に対し垂直の面を含んでいる、バルーン。 - 前記本体部分の外縁とシール部分の内縁が、長手方向でオフセットされている、請求項1に記載のバルーン。
- 前記負荷分散部材が構造補強部材である、請求項1に記載のバルーン。
- 前記負荷分散部材が、高密度化済み延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(ePTFE)あるいはフッ素化エチレンプロピレン(FEP)、PATT、熱可塑性材料、又はナイロンを吸収させたePTFEを含んでいる、請求項1に記載のバルーン。
- 前記負荷分散部材が肩部分の中間区域のみに設けられる、請求項1に記載のバルーン。
- 前記負荷分散部材が、本体部分の巻き付けられたポリマー材料より高い硬度を有する材料を含んでいる、請求項1に記載のバルーン。
- 前記負荷分散部材が、前記2か所の肩部分のうちの前記少なくとも1つに高密度化済みのePTFEの領域か、あるいは前記2か所の肩部分のうちの前記少なくとも1つにフッ素化エチレンプロピレン(FEP)、PATT、熱可塑性材料、又はナイロンを吸収させたePTFEの領域、のうちの少なくとも1つから形成される、請求項1に記載のバルーン。
- 前記負荷分散部材が、前記バルーンの肩部分に配置されている、請求項1に記載のバルーン。
- 前記負荷分散部材がニチノール補強部材を含む、請求項1に記載のバルーン。
- 第1の直径の周面を形成するように膨らむことができ、延伸フルオロポリマーを含み巻き付けられたポリマー材料を含んでいる本体部分;
それぞれ前記第1の直径より小さい第2の直径を有する2か所のシール部分;及び
それぞれ前記第1の直径と前記第2の直径の間の移行を規定する2か所の肩部分、
を含むバルーンであって、
少なくとも1か所の肩部分は、バルーンの膨張時に、前記本体部分の周面に対し垂直の面を含み、かつ
前記少なくとも1か所の肩部分は、前記第1の直径と前記第2の直径との間の中間的な直径を有する1若しくは複数の円周状の段差部を含む階段状の形状を含む、
バルーン。 - 前記本体部分の外縁とシール部分の内縁が、長手方向でオフセットされている、請求項10に記載のバルーン。
- 前記階段状の形状が構造補強部材を用いて形成される、請求項10に記載のバルーン。
- 前記階段状の形状が、本体部分の材料よりも膨張性が低いポリマー材料を用いて形成される、請求項10に記載のバルーン。
- 前記階段状の形状が、本体部分より高い硬度を有する材料を用いて形成される、請求項10に記載のバルーン。
- 前記階段状の形状が、前記2か所の肩部分のうちの前記少なくとも1つに高密度化済みのePTFEの領域か、あるいは前記2か所の肩部分のうちの前記少なくとも1つにフッ素化エチレンプロピレン(FEP)、PATT、熱可塑性材料、又はナイロンを吸収させたePTFEの領域、のうちの少なくとも1つを用いて形成される、請求項10に記載のバルーン。
- 前記ポリマー材料が、複数回巻き付けられた、請求項13に記載のバルーン。
