Description
Claims (5)
- 本体部分及び2か所の肩部分を有する拡張可能なバルーンの第1のシール部分と第2のシール部分にかかる円周方向の応力を軽減するための該拡張可能なバルーンを製造するための方法であって、
第1の直径の円周面を形成するように膨張可能な本体部分を含むバルーンを準備する工程、
該バルーンを第1の端部でシールして第1のシール部分を形成し、第2の端部で第2のシール部分を形成する工程、ここで各シール部分は第1の直径よりも小さい第2の直径を有する、
該2か所の肩部分のうちの少なくとも1か所の少なくとも一部に沿って前記バルーンの周りに負荷分散部材を配置する工程、ここで該負荷分散部材は該肩部分の少なくとも1つが、少なくとも肩部分の区域に沿って該第1の直径と該第2の直径の間の中間直径を超えて膨らむのを抑制する、そして
該負荷分散部材を使用して、該中間直径で1つまたは複数の円周方向の段を含む段付き形状を形成する工程、ここで前記少なくとも1つの肩部分は前記本体部分の円周面に垂直な面を含む、
を含む方法。 - 前記バルーンの周りに負荷分散部材を配置する工程は、バルーンの周りに延伸フルオロポリマーを含むポリマー材料を巻き付けることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記負荷分散部材が構造補強部材を含んでいる、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記負荷分散部材が、本体部分の材料よりも伸張性が低い第2の材料で高密度化又は吸収済みの材料を含んでいる、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記延伸フルオロポリマーが、高密度化済み延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(ePTFE)を含むか、あるいはフッ素化エチレンプロピレン(FEP)、PATT、熱可塑性材料、又はナイロンの第二の材料を吸収させたePTFEを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
