Description
以下、第1実施形態について、図1ないし図9を参照して説明する。本実施形態の運転支援装置1は、車両に搭載されて使用されるものであり、図1に示すように、シフト装置2と、ドライバのシート3に設けられた振動付与装置4と、ナビゲーションユニット5と、位置検出装置6と、表示器7と、入力操作部8と、車載制御装置9とを備えて構成されている。
図10は、第2実施形態を示すものである。尚、第1実施形態と同一構成には、同一符号を付している。上記した第1実施形態の場合、シフトレバーを変更操作すると、その度に、シート3が振動する構成であることから、ドライバが煩わしさを感じる可能性がある。例えば、坂道を下るように走行するときには、シフトポジションをDとLに交互に切り替えるようにシフト操作することがあるが、シフトポジションを切り替えるたびにシート3の振動が発生してしまう。このようなシスト操作の場合、シフト入れ間違いによる事故のリスクは低いため、メータにシフトポジションを表示するだけで、十分と考えられる。
Claims (4)
- 車両の変速装置のシフトポジションを検出する検出部(2)と、
ドライバに刺激を与える刺激部(4)と、
前記刺激部を駆動制御することにより、シフトポジションに対応する刺激パターンの刺激をドライバに与える刺激制御部(9)と、
シフトポジションが変更されたときであっても、ドライバに対して刺激を与える必要があるか否かを判断する判断部(9)と、を備え、
前記刺激制御部は、シフトポジションが変更されたときであっても、ドライバに対して刺激を与える必要がないときには、ドライバに刺激を与えないように構成され、
前記判断部は、シフトポジションの変更を検知してから設定時間が経過していないときには、ドライバに対して刺激を与える必要がないと判断するように構成され、
前記判断部は、シフトポジションの変更を検知してから設定時間が経過した後であっても、道路を走行しているときには、ドライバに対して刺激を与える必要がないと判断するように構成された運転支援装置。 - 前記刺激部は、運転席のシート(3)を振動させる振動付与装置(4)で構成された請求項1記載の運転支援装置。
- 前記振動付与装置は、前記シートの座面の四隅部に設けられた振動アクチュエータ(16)を備えた請求項2記載の運転支援装置。
- 前記刺激制御部は、シフトポジションが変更されたときに、変更されたシフトポジションに対応する振動パターンの振動をドライバに与えるように構成された請求項3記載の運転支援装置。
