Claims (10)
- (a)ハウジングと、該ハウジングに装填された端子とを備えるコネクタであって、
(b)前記端子は、第1端子と第2端子とから成る対を含み、
(c)前記第1端子及び第2端子は、それぞれ、前後方向に延在する接触部と、上下方向に延在する上側平板部及び下側平板部と、横方向に延在し、前記上側平板部と下側平板部とを連結する連結部とを含み、
(d)前記第1端子の接触部と第2端子の接触部とは上下方向に向い合い、前記第1端子の上側平板部と第2端子の上側平板部とは横方向に向い合い、前記第1端子の下側平板部と第2端子の下側平板部とは横方向に向い合い、前記第1端子の上側平板部と第2端子の上側平板部との横方向の位置関係は、前記第1端子の下側平板部と第2端子の下側平板部との横方向の位置関係と逆であることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 前記第1端子の上側平板部と第2端子の上側平板部との横方向の位置関係と、前記第1端子の下側平板部と第2端子の下側平板部との横方向の位置関係とは、前記連結部で逆転する請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第1端子と第2端子とから成る対は複数であり、該対は横方向に並んで配置される請求項1又は2に記載のコネクタ。
- 1つの対における接触部のエッジと隣接する対における接触部のエッジとは、横方向に向い合う請求項3に記載のコネクタ。
- 1つの対における上側平板部及び下側平板部の面と隣接する対における上側平板部及び下側平板部の面とは、横方向に向い合う請求項3に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第1端子と第2端子とから成る対は、差動信号を伝送する請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記ハウジングは、前記第1端子及び第2端子の上側平板部及び下側平板部が収容される収容溝部を含み、
前記上側平板部及び下側平板部における収容溝部の内壁に対向する面の少なくとも一部には、該面から膨出する膨出部が形成されている請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記ハウジングは、前記第1端子及び第2端子の上側平板部及び下側平板部が収容される収容溝部を含み、
該収容溝部の内壁における上側平板部及び下側平板部に対向する面の少なくとも一部には、該面から膨出する膨出部が形成されている請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記第1端子及び第2端子は、それぞれ、前記下側平板部の後部に接続された上下方向に延在する基部と、該基部の下端に接続された前後方向に延在するテール部とを更に含み、
該テール部の下端は基板の表面に配設された平板状の接続パッドに接続される請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記第1端子は、前記上側平板部の後端に接続された前後方向に延在するテール部を更に含み、前記第2端子は、前記下側平板部の後端に接続された前後方向に延在するテール部を更に含み、
前記第1端子及び第2端子のテール部は基板に形成されたスルーホールに挿入される請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
