<第1の共役ジエン系共重合体の製造>
窒素置換された重合反応器(オートクレーブ)に、イオン交換水200重量部、単量体として、スチレン46重量部、1,3−ブタジエン51重量部、ヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレート3重量部、乳化剤として、脂肪酸の石けんおよびロジン酸のアルカリ塩5重量部、開始剤として、クメンヒドロパーオキシド0.5重量部、および分子量調節剤として、ドデシルメルカプタン0.5重量部を一括投入し、反応温度10℃で反応させた。重合転換率が60%である時点で反応を終了し、第1の共役ジエン系共重合体ラテックスを製造した。

上記得られた第1の共役ジエン系共重合体ラテックス50重量部(固形分基準)および第2の共役ジエン系共重合体ラテックス50重量部(固形分基準)を常温で1時間攪拌し、共役ジエン系共重合体組成物ラテックスを得た。得られた共役ジエン系共重合体組成物ラテックスをメタノールにゆっくりと滴下して沈殿させた後、100℃のオーブンで1時間乾燥することで、共役ジエン系共重合体組成物粉体を得た。
前記実施例1において、第1の共役ジエン系共重合体の製造時に、ヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレート3重量部の代わりにヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレート5重量部を投入した以外は、前記実施例1と同様の方法で行った。
前記実施例1において、第1の共役ジエン系共重合体の製造時に、ヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレート3重量部の代わりにヒドロキシメチルメタクリレート3重量部を投入した以外は、前記実施例1と同様の方法で行った。
前記実施例1において、第1の共役ジエン系共重合体の製造時に、ヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレート3重量部の代わりにヒドロキシブチルメタクリレート3重量部を投入した以外は、前記実施例1と同様の方法で行った。
前記実施例1において、第1の共役ジエン系共重合体の製造時に、ヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレート3重量部の代わりにヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレート5重量部を投入し、共役ジエン系共重合体組成物の製造時に、第1の共役ジエン系共重合体ラテックス50重量部および第2の共役ジエン系共重合体ラテックス50重量部の代わり、第1の共役ジエン系共重合体ラテックス40重量部および第2の共役ジエン系共重合体ラテックス60重量部を混合した以外は、前記実施例1と同様の方法で行った。
前記実施例1において、第2の共役ジエン系共重合体の製造時に、α−メチルスチレンの代わりにスチレンを同量投入した以外は、前記実施例1と同様の方法で行った。
前記実施例1において、第1の共役ジエン系共重合体の製造時に、ドデシルメルカプタンを1重量部投入し、第2の共役ジエン系共重合体の製造時に、ドデシルメルカプタンを0.1重量部投入した以外は、前記実施例1と同様の方法で行った。
前記実施例1において、第1の共役ジエン系共重合体の製造時に、ヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレート3重量部の代わりにヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレート15重量部を投入した以外は、前記実施例1と同様の方法で行った。
前記実施例1において、第1の共役ジエン系共重合体の製造時に、ヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレートを投入しない以外は、前記実施例1と同様の方法で行った。
実験例1
前記実施例1〜5および比較例1〜4で製造された第1の共役ジエン系共重合体および第2の共役ジエン系共重合体のムーニー粘度(MV)と、共役ジエン系共重合体組成物のムーニー粘度(MV)およびガラス転移温度(Tg)を下記表1および2に記載した。各実施例および比較例において同様の方法で製造したにもかかわらずムーニー粘度が異なる場合は、実験誤差によるものである。
前記実施例1〜5および比較例1〜4で製造された共役ジエン系共重合体組成物を含むゴム組成物およびそれにより製造された成形品の物性を比較分析するために、下記のようにゴム試験片を製造し、ムーニー粘度、引張特性、耐磨耗性および粘弾性特性を下記の方法でそれぞれ測定し、その結果を表4および5に示した。
実施例1〜5および比較例1〜4の共役ジエン系共重合体組成物100重量部、およびブタジエンゴム(エルジー・ケム・リミテッド社製、grade名BR1208)30重量部を原料ゴムとして、下記表3に示した配合条件で配合した。表3中の原料は、共役ジエン系共重合体100重量部を基準とした各重量部である。
Claims (10)
- 芳香族ビニル単量体由来の繰り返し単位20重量%〜60重量%、第1の共役ジエン系単量体由来の繰り返し単位35重量%〜75重量%、およびヒドロキシアルキル(メタ)アクリレート単量体由来の繰り返し単位1重量%〜10重量%を含み、100℃でのムーニー粘度(Mooney viscosity、MV)が30〜120である第1の共役ジエン系共重合体と、
α−メチルスチレン単量体由来の繰り返し単位20重量%〜60重量%、および第2の共役ジエン系単量体由来の繰り返し単位40重量%〜80重量%を含み、100℃でのムーニー粘度(Mooney viscosity、MV)が120超〜200以下である第2の共役ジエン系共重合体とを含む、共役ジエン系共重合体組成物。 - 前記芳香族ビニル単量体は、スチレン、3−メチルスチレン、4−メチルスチレン、4−プロピルスチレン、1−ビニルナフタレン、4−シクロヘキシルスチレン、4−(p−メチルフェニル)スチレンおよび1−ビニル−5−ヘキシルナフタレンからなる群から選択される1種以上である、請求項1に記載の共役ジエン系共重合体組成物。
- 前記ヒドロキシアルキル(メタ)アクリレート単量体は、ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、ヒドロキシプロピル(メタ)アクリレートおよびヒドロキシブチル(メタ)アクリレートからなる群から選択される1種以上である、請求項1または2に記載の共役ジエン系共重合体組成物。
- 前記第1の共役ジエン系共重合体は、100℃でのムーニー粘度(Mooney viscosity、MV)が60〜90である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の共役ジエン系共重合体組成物。
- 前記第2の共役ジエン系共重合体は、100℃でのムーニー粘度(Mooney viscosity、MV)が160〜180である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の共役ジエン系共重合体組成物。
- 前記共役ジエン系共重合体組成物の全含量に対して、前記第1の共役ジエン系共重合体の含量は10重量%〜90重量%であり、前記第2の共役ジエン系共重合体の含量は10重量%〜90重量%である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の共役ジエン系共重合体組成物。
- 芳香族ビニル単量体20重量%〜60重量%、第1の共役ジエン系単量体35重量%〜75重量%、およびヒドロキシアルキル(メタ)アクリレート単量体1重量%〜10重量%を含む第1の単量体混合物を乳化重合し、100℃でのムーニー粘度(Mooney viscosity、MV)が30〜120である第1の共役ジエン系共重合体を製造するステップ(S10)と、
α−メチルスチレン単量体20重量%〜60重量%、および第2の共役ジエン系単量体40重量%〜80重量%を含む第2の単量体混合物を乳化重合し、100℃でのムーニー粘度(Mooney viscosity、MV)が120超〜200以下である第2の共役ジエン系共重合体を製造するステップ(S20)と、
前記(S10)ステップで製造された第1の共役ジエン系共重合体と前記(S20)ステップで製造された第2の共役ジエン系共重合体とを混合するステップ(S30)とを含む、共役ジエン系共重合体組成物の製造方法。 - 請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の共役ジエン系共重合体組成物を含む原料ゴムを含む、ゴム組成物。
- 前記原料ゴム100重量部に対して、1重量部〜200重量部のシリカ系充填剤を含む、請求項8に記載のゴム組成物。
- 前記シリカ系充填剤は、湿式シリカ、乾式シリカ、ケイ酸カルシウム、ケイ酸アルミニウム、およびコロイドシリカからなる群から選択される1種以上である、請求項9に記載のゴム組成物。
