Claims (3)
- 超音波を送受信する超音波振動子と、前記超音波振動子の中心軸を傾斜及び回転させる機構とを有するソナーであって、
前記超音波振動子は、音響整合層を兼ねる基材と、厚さ方向に沿って延びるように分割された複数の柱部により構成され、かつ前記基材に対して接合された前面及びその反対側にある背面を有するセラミックス製板状物からなる円板状の圧電素子とを備え、
前記複数の柱部が、前記圧電素子の前記前面側の端部において互いに繋がっており、
前記圧電素子内を伝搬する縦波の音速をc1とし、前記圧電素子の厚さをt1とし、前記基材内を伝搬する縦波の音速をc2とし、前記基材の厚さをt2としたとき、(c2×t1)/(c1×t2)=1.10以上1.42以下の関係を満たし、
前記柱部を前記厚さ方向から見たときの最大寸法は、前記柱部の高さの47%以上68%以下であり、
100kHz〜340kHzの範囲内で送受感度積が最大となる値を最大送受感度積と定義し、送受感度積が最大送受感度積よりも0dB〜6dB低くなる周波数の範囲を周波数帯域と定義し、周波数帯域における下限の周波数を下限周波数と定義し、周波数帯域における上限の周波数を上限周波数と定義し、下限周波数と上限周波数との中間値を中心周波数fmと定義し、下限周波数と上限周波数との差を周波数帯域幅Δfと定義したとき、周波数帯域幅Δfと中心周波数fmとの比である比帯域Δf/fmが、0.27以上である
ことを特徴とするソナー。 - 前記柱部の高さは、前記圧電素子の厚さの80%以上100%未満であり、前記圧電素子の前記前面の全体が、前面側電極層を介して前記基材に接合されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のソナー。
- 超音波を送受信する超音波振動子であって、
音響整合層を兼ねる基材と、
厚さ方向に沿って延びるように分割された複数の柱部により構成され、かつ前記基材に対して接合された前面及びその反対側にある背面を有するセラミックス製板状物からなる円板状の圧電素子と
を備え、前記複数の柱部が、前記前面側の端部において互いに繋がっており、
前記圧電素子内を伝搬する縦波の音速をc1とし、前記圧電素子の厚さをt1とし、前記基材内を伝搬する縦波の音速をc2とし、前記基材の厚さをt2としたとき、(c2×t1)/(c1×t2)=1.10以上1.42以下の関係を満たし、
前記柱部を前記厚さ方向から見たときの最大寸法は、前記柱部の高さの47%以上68%以下であり、
