Description
工程Aは、スチレン系モノマと、多孔質化剤と、重合開始剤と、を含有するモノマ混合物(第1の混合物、混合組成物。以下、場合により「分散相」(スチレン系モノマの分散相)ともいう)を得る工程である。工程Aでは、例えば、スチレン系モノマ及び多孔質化剤を含む混合物に重合開始剤を加えてモノマ混合物を得てもよい。
工程Bは、工程Aで得られた分散相(モノマ混合物、第1の混合物)と、高分子分散剤(例えば高分子分散安定剤)0.01〜0.5質量%及び界面活性剤(前記高分子分散剤に該当する化合物を除く)0.01〜0.2質量%を含む連続相(第2の混合物)とを混合して乳化物(乳化液等)を得る工程である。工程Bにより、スチレン系モノマ(モノマ滴)の表面(界面)には、後述する工程Cにおいて第三リン酸カルシウム(TCP)が吸着するためのTCP吸着層が形成される。工程Bでは、スチレン系モノマを連続相中で乳化させることができる。

工程Cは、工程Bで得られた乳化物(乳化液等)と、第三リン酸カルシウム(TCP)と、を混合する工程である。これにより、乳化物(特に、スチレン系モノマ(モノマ滴)
)にTCPを吸着させることができる。工程Cでは、乳化物と、TCPの水溶液(TCP水溶液)とを混合することができる。
工程Dは、前記工程Cの後、前記乳化物を重合させることにより多孔質ポリマ粒子を得る工程である。重合させる対象である乳化物は、TCPが吸着した乳化物(モノマ乳化液等)である。工程Dでは、例えば、スチレン系モノマを含むモノマを重合させる。重合温度は、モノマ及び重合開始剤の種類に応じて適宜選択することができる。重合温度は、25〜110℃が好ましく、50〜100℃がより好ましい。
1)粒子を、超音波分散装置を使用して水(界面活性剤等の分散剤を含む)に分散させ、1質量%の粒子を含む分散液を調製する。
2)粒度分布計(シスメックスフロー、シスメックス株式会社製)を用いて、上記分散液中の粒子約1万個の画像により平均粒径と粒径を測定した。
(工程A)
モノマとして純度96%のジビニルベンゼン(DVB)16gと、多孔質化剤としてオクタノール16g及びトルエン16gと、重合開始剤として過酸化ベンゾイル0.64gと、を混合し、モノマ混合液(分散相)を調製した。
二重管構造を有するO/W用マイクロリアクタに、工程Aで調製したモノマ混合液と、高分子分散剤(PVA)0.05質量%、界面活性剤(ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム(SDS))0.03質量%及び溶媒(純水)を含有する溶液(連続相)と、をシリンジポンプで別々に流し、25体積%の乳化液を得た。なお、前記O/W用マイクロリアクタとして、モノマ混合液が流れる分散相管と、高分子分散剤及び界面活性剤を含有する前記溶液が流れる連続相管と、を備える二重管構造(分散相管は、連続相管の内側において二重管構造の中心軸に配置されている)を有し、且つ、前記溶液中にモノマ混合液を吐出し、ジビニルベンゼンを含むモノマ混合液を乳化するマイクロリアクタを用いた。
1%TCP水溶液(太平化学産業株式会社製)100gと、前記乳化液100gとを混合し、前記乳化液のモノマ滴にTCPを吸着させた。
得られた乳化液を500mLのセパラブルフラスコに移しかえた後、80℃に昇温し、7時間重合を行った。塩酸を用いて、得られた粒子分散液のpHを2に調整した。工程Cで添加した分散剤であるTCPを溶解させた後、ろ過を行った。さらに、アセトン300mLに粒子を浸漬して30分攪拌した後にろ過する工程を3回繰り返し、洗浄を行うことにより多孔質ポリマ粒子を得た。得られた粒子の粒径をフロー型粒径測定装置(FPIA−3000、シスメックス株式会社製)で測定し、体積平均粒径及び粒径のC.V.値を算出した。体積平均粒径は107μmであり、粒径C.V.値は4.5%であった。実施例1の多孔質ポリマ粒子の光学顕微鏡写真を図1示す。
工程Bにおいて高分子分散剤の濃度を0.1質量%、界面活性剤の濃度を0.05質量%に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして、粒子を合成すると共に評価を行った。
工程Bにおいて高分子分散剤の濃度を0.25質量%、界面活性剤の濃度を0.1質量%に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして、粒子を合成すると共に評価を行った。
工程Bにおいて高分子分散剤の濃度を0.5質量%、界面活性剤の濃度を0.18質量%に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして、粒子を合成すると共に評価を行った。
工程Bにおいて高分子分散剤を使用しなかった以外は、実施例2と同様にして、粒子を合成すると共に評価を行った。
工程Bにおいて界面活性剤を使用しなかった以外は、実施例1と同様にして、粒子を合成すると共に評価を行った。
工程Cにおいて乳化液とTCPとを混合しなかった以外は、実施例1と同様にして、粒子を合成すると共に評価を行った。

- スチレン系モノマと、多孔質化剤と、重合開始剤と、を含有する第1の混合物を得る工程Aと、
前記第1の混合物と、高分子分散剤0.01〜0.5質量%及び界面活性剤0.01〜0.2質量%を含む第2の混合物とを混合して乳化物を得る工程Bと、
前記乳化物と第三リン酸カルシウムとを混合する工程Cと、
前記工程Cの後、前記乳化物を重合させて多孔質ポリマ粒子を得る工程Dと、を備え、
前記スチレン系モノマがジビニルベンゼンであり、

- 前記界面活性剤が、スルホン酸基及びスルホン酸塩基からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種を有するアニオン性界面活性剤である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質ポリマ粒子の製造方法。
- 前記第1の混合物に対する前記第2の混合物の質量比が1〜9である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質ポリマ粒子の製造方法。
- 前記多孔質ポリマ粒子の粒径C.V.値が10%以下である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の多孔質ポリマ粒子の製造方法。
