Description
まず、実施の形態に係る照明装置について説明する。図1は、実施の形態に係る照明装置の概略構成を示す模式図である。
以下、色変換素子4について詳細に説明する。図2は、実施の形態に係る色変換素子4及び温度検出部5の概略構成を示す断面図である。
図2に示すように、温度検出部5は、実装基板7に実装されており、当該実装基板7がネジ穴413を介してネジ71により締結されることで、色変換素子4に固定されている。温度検出部5は、基板41の温度を検出する、例えばサーミスタなどの温度センサである。温度検出部5は、基板41の凹部414内に収容されるため、吸収部45に対向して配置されることになる。つまり、温度検出部5は、吸収部45の温度変化を検出することが可能である。例えば、正常時においては、レーザー光は蛍光体層44で波長が変換されたり、反射層43で反射されるために、吸収部45まで到達することがなく、吸収部45が概ね一定の温度となる。他方、蛍光体層44及び反射層43が基板41から剥離していると、レーザー光が吸収部45にあたることになり、吸収部45の温度が上昇する。これにより、基板41の温度は、正常時と比べると異常時では3倍程度にまで上昇する。正常時の温度の3倍程度の温度を、制御部6が閾値として用いる所定値としてもよい。
次に、照明装置1の動作について説明する。
以上のように、本実施の形態に係る色変換素子4は、少なくとも一種類の蛍光体(蛍光体粒子441)を含む蛍光体層44と、蛍光体層44に積層された反射層43と、反射層43に対向配置された基板41と、反射層43と基板41との間に介在して反射層43と基板41とを接合するための接合部42と、基板41における接合部42側の主面411上で接合部42に覆われ、蛍光体粒子441を励起させる波長のレーザー光を吸収する吸収部45とを備える。

Claims (6)
- 少なくとも一種類の蛍光体を含む蛍光体層と、
前記蛍光体層に積層された反射層と、
前記反射層に対向配置された基板と、
前記反射層と前記基板との間に介在して前記反射層と前記基板とを接合するための接合部と、
前記基板における前記接合部側の主面上で前記接合部に覆われ、前記蛍光体を励起させる波長のレーザー光を吸収する吸収部とを備え、
前記反射層は、前記レーザー光と、前記蛍光体から放射された光とを反射する
色変換素子。 - 前記吸収部の一部は、前記接合部内に配置されている
請求項1に記載の色変換素子。 - 前記接合部は、前記反射層と前記基板とを金属接合する金属接合部である
請求項1または2に記載の色変換素子。 - 前記吸収部は、前記接合部に対して非接合である

前記温度検出部の検出温度が所定値以上である場合に、前記光源部を消灯する制御部とを備える
