Description
本発明の実施の形態について、図1乃至図7を参照して説明する。なお、以下に説明する実施の形態は、本発明を実施する上での好適な具体例として示すものであり、技術的に好ましい種々の技術的事項を具体的に例示している部分もあるが、本発明の技術的範囲は、この具体的態様に限定されるものではない。
図1は、本発明の第1の実施の形態に係る差動装置の構成例を示す断面図である。図2は、差動装置の分解斜視図である。図3は、差動装置のスライド部材を示す斜視図である。図4は、差動装置の差動機構を示す斜視図である。図5は、差動機構の分解斜視図である。図6は、差動装置の一部を拡大して示す断面図である。図7は、差動装置の動作を示す説明図であり、(a)はアクチュエータの非作動状態を、(b)はアクチュエータの作動状態をそれぞれ示す。
差動装置1は、アクチュエータ6の作動及び非作動によって、第1の噛み合い部51と第2の噛み合い部211とが周方向に噛み合ってスライド部材5とデフケース2とが相対回転不能に連結される連結状態と、スライド部材5とデフケース2とが相対回転可能な非連結状態とが切り替わる。
以上説明した第1の実施の形態によれば、スライド部材5がデフケース2に内部で軸方向に移動して、スライド部材5の端部に設けられた第1の噛み合い部51と、デフケース2の内面に形成された第2の噛み合い部221とが噛み合い、この噛み合いによってデフケース2からスライド部材5を介して差動機構3に駆動力が伝達される。また、スライド部材5にアクチュエータ6の移動力を伝達するために、第2のケース部材22の壁部222に複数の挿通孔222aが形成されているが、この壁部222は駆動力の伝達経路に含まれない。これにより、デフケース2の重量及びサイズの増大を抑制しながら、スライド部材5の軸方向移動によって駆動力伝達を断続可能とすることが可能となる。
次に、本発明の第2の実施の形態に係る差動装置について、図8及び図9を参照して説明する。本実施の形態に係る差動装置は、差動機構の入力部材の構成が第1の実施の形態と異なる他は、第1の実施の形態に係る差動装置1と同様に構成されているので、この違いの部分について説明する。また、図8及び図9において、第1の実施の形態と共通する構成部材については、同一の符号を付して重複した説明を省略する。
次に、本発明の第3の実施の形態に係る差動装置について、図10を参照して説明する。本実施の形態に係る差動装置は、差動機構の入力部材の構成が第1の実施の形態と異なる他は、第1の実施の形態に係る差動装置1と同様に構成されているので、この違いの部分について説明する。また、図10において、第1の実施の形態と共通する構成部材については、同一の符号を付して重複した説明を省略する。
以上、本発明を上記第1乃至第3の実施の形態に基づいて説明したが、本発明はこれらの実施の形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で適宜変形して実施することが可能である。

Claims (4)
- 入力部材に入力された駆動力を一対の出力部材に差動を許容して配分する差動機構と、
前記差動機構を収容するデフケースと、
前記デフケースと前記差動機構の前記入力部材との間で前記駆動力を伝達するクラッチ機構とを備え、
前記クラッチ機構は、前記デフケース内で前記差動機構に対して前記デフケースの回転軸線に沿う中心軸方向に相対移動可能かつ相対回転不能に配置されたスライド部材、前記スライド部材に前記中心軸方向への移動力を付与するアクチュエータ、及び前記スライド部材と前記アクチュエータとの間に配置されて前記スライド部材を押圧する押圧部材を有し、前記スライド部材に前記入力部材の被係合部が係合する係合部が形成されており、
前記差動機構は、前記デフケースの回転軸線周りに前記スライド部材と共に回転可能に支持された複数のピニオンギヤと、前記複数のピニオンギヤに噛み合う前記出力部材としての一対のサイドギヤとを有し、前記複数のピニオンギヤが前記入力部材に軸支されており、
前記押圧部材は、前記スライド部材に当接する円環部を有すると共に、前記デフケースとの相対回転が規制されており、
前記スライド部材は、その中心軸線が前記デフケースの回転軸線と一致する円筒状であり、前記中心軸方向の一端部に設けられた複数の噛み合い歯を有する第1の噛み合い部を有すると共に前記第1の噛み合い部とは反対側の軸方向端面に前記押圧部材の前記円環部が当接し、かつ前記複数のピニオンギヤに対して前記中心軸方向に相対移動可能かつ相対回転不能であり、
前記デフケースは、前記第1の噛み合い部と前記中心軸方向に対向する部位に形成された複数の噛み合い歯を有する第2の噛み合い部を有し、
前記スライド部材の前記係合部は、前記中心軸方向に延びて前記軸方向端面に開口する溝であり、
前記アクチュエータの作動及び非作動によって、前記第1の噛み合い部と前記第2の噛み合い部とが周方向に噛み合って前記スライド部材と前記デフケースとが相対回転不能に連結される連結状態と、前記スライド部材と前記デフケースとが相対回転可能な非連結状態とが切り替わる、
差動装置。 - 前記差動機構は、一対の前記入力部材を有し、前記入力部材のそれぞれの両端部が前記スライド部材に係合し、
