Description
(a)主要量の潤滑粘度の油、
(b)少なくとも0.25重量%のジチオホスホリル化カルボン酸(dithiophosphorylated carboxylic acid)化合物、及び
(c)分子量が1200以下のポリイソブチレン基から誘導されたコハク酸イミド分散剤を含む、建設機械用の亜鉛非含有トランスミッションオイル組成物を提供する。
(a)主要量の潤滑粘度の油、
(b)少なくとも0.25重量%のジチオホスホリル化カルボン酸化合物、及び
分子量が1200以下のポリイソブチレン基から誘導されたコハク酸イミド分散剤を含む亜鉛非含有トランスミッションオイル組成物を用いて、トランスミッションを潤滑することを含む、建設機械のトランスミッションを潤滑する方法を提供する。
以下の用語は、明細書全体を通して使用され、特に断りのない限り、以下の意味を有するものとする。
「PIBSA」の用語は、ポリイソブチレン無水コハク酸を指す。
「HPA」の用語は、重質ポリアミンを指す。
「DETA」の用語は、ジエチレントリアミンを指す。
「TEPA」の用語は、トリエチレンペンタミンを指す。
本発明の一実施態様に従って、
(a)主要量の潤滑粘度の油、
(b)少なくとも0.25重量%のジチオホスホリル化カルボン酸化合物、及び
(c)分子量が1200以下のポリイソブチレン基から誘導されたコハク酸イミド分散剤を含む、建設機械用の亜鉛非含有トランスミッションオイル組成物を提供する。
(b)少なくとも0.25重量%のジチオホスホリル化カルボン酸化合物、及び
分子量が1200以下のポリイソブチレン基から誘導されたコハク酸イミド分散剤を含む亜鉛非含有トランスミッションオイル組成物を用いて、トランスミッションを潤滑することを含む、建設機械のトランスミッションを潤滑する方法を更に提供する。
一実施態様では、本明細書に開示する潤滑油組成物には、懸濁された粒子をコロイド状態に保持することによりスラッジ、ワニス、及び他の堆積物を防ぐことができる1200以下の分子量を有するポリイソブチレン基から誘導されたコハク酸イミド分散剤が含まれる。当業者に既知の任意のコハク酸イミド分散剤は、それが1200以下の分子量を有するポリイソブチレン基から誘導されたものである場合、本潤滑油組成物に使用することができる。
式中、R1は、約450から3000の分子量を有する実質的に炭化水素基である、即ち、R1は、約30から約200個の炭素原子を含有するヒドロカルビル基、好ましくはアルケニル基であり、Alkは、2から10個、好ましくは2から6個の炭素原子を有するアルキレン基であり、R2、R3、及びR4は、C1からC4のアルキル又はアルコキシ又は水素から選択され、好ましくは水素であり、そしてxは、0から10、好ましくは0から3の整数である:
式中、R5及びR7は共に、約450から3000の分子量を有する実質的に炭化水素基である、即ち、R5及びR7は、約30から約200個の炭素原子を含有するヒドロカルビル基、好ましくはアルケニル基であり、Alkは、2から10個、好ましくは2から6個の炭素原子を有するアルキレン基であり、R6は、C1からC4のアルキル又はアルコキシ又は水素から選択され、好ましくは水素であり、そしてyは、0から10、好ましくは0から3の整数である。一実施態様では、R1、R5及びR7は、ポリイソブチル基である。
式中、zは、0から10の整数であり、Alkは、2から10個、好ましくは2から6個の炭素原子のアルキレン基であり、、R8、R9、及びR10は、C1からC4のアルキル又はアルコキシ又は水素から選択され、好ましくは水素であり、そしてzは、0から10、好ましくは0から3の整数である。
式中、αは、1から10の整数である。従って、それには、例えば、エチレンジアミン、ジエチレントリアミン、トリエチレンテトラミン、テトラエチレンペンタミン、ペンタエチレンヘキサミン等が含まれる。
一実施態様では、本明細書に開示する潤滑油組成物には、式Vで表されるジチオホスホリル化カルボン酸化合物が含まれる:
式(V)において、R11は、直鎖及び分枝鎖アルキル、シクロアルキル、並びにアルキルフェニルから選択されるヒドロカルビルである。R11の好ましい置換基は、プロピル、イソプロピル、ブチル、イソブチル、tert−ブチル、ペンチル、イソペンチル、ヘキシル、2−エチルブチル、1−メチルペンチル、1,3−ジメチルブチル、2−エチルヘキシル等の3から10個の炭素原子を有するアルキル;シクロペンチル、シクロヘキシル、シクロヘプチル等の5から7個の炭素原子を有するシクロアルキル、並びに1から30個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基を有するアルキルフェニルから独立的に選択される。R11の特に好ましい基は、前記のものの混合物である。別の実施態様では、R11の好ましいアルキル基は、イソプロピル、イソブチル及び2−エチルヘキシルから選択される。R12は、エチレン、n−プロピレン、イソプロピレン、n−ブチレン、イソブチレン及びsec−ブチレン等の1から10個の炭素原子を有するアルキレンからなる群から選択される。より好ましくは、イソプロピレンである。
式VIの化合物は、商業的に入手可能であり、商標IRGALUBE(登録商標)353で市販されている。
本明細書に開示する潤滑油組成物には、一般的に、少なくとも1種の潤滑粘度の油が含まれる。当業者に既知の任意の基油を、本明細書に開示する潤滑粘度の油として使用することができる。潤滑油組成物を調製するのに適する幾つかの基油は、Mortierらの「Chemistry and Technology of Lubricants」第2版、ロンドン、スプリンガー、第1章及び第2章(1996年);並びにA.Sequeria Jr.の「Lubricant Base Oil and Wax Processing」ニューヨーク、Marcel Dekker、第6章(1994年);並びにD.V.Brockの「Lubrication Engineering」第43巻、184〜5頁、(1987年)に記載されており、その全てを本明細書に参照により援用する。一般的に、潤滑油組成物中の基油の量は、潤滑油組成物の全重量に基づいて、約70から約99.5重量%とすることができる。幾つかの実施態様では、潤滑油組成物中の基油の量は、潤滑油組成物の全重量に基づいて、約75から約99重量%、約80から約98.5重量%、又は約80から約98重量%である。
任意選択で、潤滑油組成物には、潤滑油組成物の任意の所望の特性を付与する又は向上させることができる少なくとも1種の添加剤又は改質剤(以下、「添加剤」と称する)を更に含ませることができる。当業者に既知の任意の添加剤を、本明細書に開示する潤滑油組成物に使用することができる。幾つかの好適な添加剤は、Mortierらの「Chemistry and Technology of Lubricants」第2版、ロンドン、スプリンガー、(1996年);及びLeslie R.Rudnickの「Lubricant Additives:Chemistry and Applications」ニューヨーク、Marcel Dekker、(2003年)に記載されており、これらの両方を本明細書に参照により援用する。幾つかの実施態様では、添加剤は、酸化防止剤、耐摩耗剤、清浄剤、防錆剤、解乳化剤、摩擦調整剤、多機能添加剤、粘度指数向上剤、流動点降下剤、発泡防止剤、金属不活性化剤、分散剤、腐食防止剤、潤滑性向上剤、熱安定性向上剤、抗曇り剤、氷結防止剤、染料、マーカー、静電放散剤、殺生物剤及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択することができる。一般に、潤滑油組成物中の添加剤の各々の濃度は、使用の際、潤滑油組成物の全重量に基づいて、約0.001重量%から約10重量%、約0.01重量%から約5重量%、又は約0.1重量%から約2.5重量%の範囲とすることができる。更に、潤滑油組成物中の添加剤の全量は、潤滑油組成物の全重量に基づいて、約0.001重量%から約20重量%、約0.01重量%から約10重量%、又は約0.1重量%から約5重量%の範囲とすることができる。
清浄剤1は、高過塩基性、320TBN、Caアルキルトルエンスルホナートの油濃縮物である。
清浄剤2は、260TBN、硫化Caフェナートの油濃縮物である。
清浄剤3は、17TBN、Caアルキルトルエンスルホナートの油濃縮物である。
ジチオホスファートカルボン酸化合物は、3−[[ビス(2−メチルプロポキシ)ホスフィノチオイル]チオ]−2−メチル−プロパン酸(IRGALUBE(登録商標)353)であり、BASF(ドイツ、Ludwigshafen)から入手可能である。
分散剤1は、1000MWのポリイソブチレンから誘導されたコハク酸イミドの油濃縮物である。
分散剤2は、1300MWのポリイソブチレンから誘導されたビス−コハク酸イミドの油濃縮物である。
分散剤3は、1000MWのポリイソブチレンから誘導された、炭酸エチレンで処理したビスコハク酸イミドの油濃縮物である。
摩擦調整剤は、オレイン酸アミドである。
DuraphosDBHPは、ジブチル水素ホスファイトであり、Rhodia Chemical Company(フランス、ラ・デファンス)から入手可能である。
本発明の例及び比較例は、マイクロクラッチ試験を使用して評価した。摩擦係数は、コマツエンジニアリング製マイクロクラッチ装置を使用し、コマツKES07.802の手順に従って測定した。即ち、その手順で指定されるようなディスク及びプレートを、4kgf/cm2の圧力にて20rpmで回転するディスクに対して、鉱油に溶解した添加剤成分の存在下で接触させた。摩擦係数を、室温(25℃)、60℃、80℃、100℃、120℃、及び140℃で測定した。高温(140℃)の結果を表1に示す。試験に合格するための基準は、0.130よりも大きい摩擦係数である。
融着点を、シェル4球試験を用いて評価した。この試験は、クレードルの形態にて固定した3つの鋼球に対して荷重回転下で1つの鋼球について操作する。試験例では、下方の3つの球をカバーする。回転速度は1760±40rpmである。10秒の持続時間の一連の試験は、融着が発生するまで荷重を増大させて行った。目的の融着荷重は、1960Nである。融着点は、リン化合物のタイプ及びそれらの投与量の影響を大いに受ける。結果を表1に示す
本発明に包含され得る諸態様は、以下のとおり要約される。

[態様4]
前記コハク酸イミド分散剤が、450から1200の分子量を有するポリイソブチレン基から誘導されたものである、上記態様1に記載のトランスミッションオイル組成物。
[態様5]
前記コハク酸イミド分散剤が、750から1000の分子量を有するポリイソブチレン基から誘導されたものである、上記態様1に記載のトランスミッションオイル組成物。
[態様6]
前記ジチオホスホリル化カルボン酸が、3−[[ビス(2−メチルプロポキシ)ホスフィノチオイル]チオ]−2−メチル−プロパン酸である、上記態様1に記載のトランスミッションオイル組成物。
[態様7]
スルホナート、フェナート又はこれらの混合物から選択される清浄剤を更に含む、上記態様1に記載のトランスミッションオイル組成物。

(a)主要量の潤滑粘度の油、
(b)少なくとも0.25重量%のジチオホスホリル化カルボン酸化合物、及び
(c)分子量が1200以下のポリイソブチレン基から誘導されたコハク酸イミド分散剤を含む亜鉛非含有トランスミッションオイル組成物を用いて、トランスミッションを潤滑することを含む、建設機械のトランスミッションを潤滑する方法。

前記ジチオホスホリル化カルボン酸化合物が、0.25から2重量%で存在する、上記態様11に記載の方法。

Claims (13)
- (a)主要量の潤滑粘度の油、
(b)0.25から1.5重量%の、3−[[ビス(2−メチルプロポキシ)ホスフィノチオイル]チオ]−2−メチル−プロパン酸であるジチオホスホリル化カルボン酸化合物、及び
(c)2から12重量%の、数平均分子量が500から1100のポリイソブチレン基から誘導されたコハク酸イミド分散剤を含む、建設機械用の亜鉛非含有トランスミッションオイル組成物。 - 前記ジチオホスホリル化カルボン酸化合物が、0.25から1重量%で存在する、請求項1に記載のトランスミッションオイル組成物。
- 前記コハク酸イミド分散剤が、750から1000の数平均分子量を有するポリイソブチレン基から誘導されたものである、請求項1に記載のトランスミッションオイル組成物。
- スルホナート、フェナート又はこれらの混合物から選択される清浄剤を更に含む、請求項1に記載のトランスミッションオイル組成物。
- 摩擦調整剤を更に含む、請求項1に記載のトランスミッションオイル組成物。
- 前記摩擦調整剤が、脂肪酸アミドである、請求項5に記載のトランスミッションオイル組成物。
- 前記コハク酸イミド分散剤が、トランスミッションオイル組成物中に1から20重量%で存在する、請求項1に記載のトランスミッションオイル組成物。
- (a)主要量の潤滑粘度の油、
(b)0.25から1.5重量%の、3−[[ビス(2−メチルプロポキシ)ホスフィノチオイル]チオ]−2−メチル−プロパン酸であるジチオホスホリル化カルボン酸化合物、及び
(c)2から12重量%の、数平均分子量が500から1100のポリイソブチレン基から誘導されたコハク酸イミド分散剤を含む亜鉛非含有トランスミッションオイル組成物を用いて、トランスミッションを潤滑することを含む、建設機械のトランスミッションを潤滑する方法。 - 前記ジチオホスホリル化カルボン酸化合物が、0.25から1重量%で存在する、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記コハク酸イミド分散剤が、750から1000の数平均分子量を有するポリイソブチレン基から誘導されたものである、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記トランスミッションオイル組成物が、スルホナート、フェナート又はこれらの混合物から選択される清浄剤を更に含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
