Description
CH3OH+H2S→CH3SH+H2O (1)
に従い、メタノール(CH3OH)と硫化水素(H2S)から製造され得る。
CO+2H2+H2S→CH3SH+H2O (2)
に従う、一酸化炭素(CO)からのメチルメルカプタンの製造を含む。
・合成ガスを得るために炭化水素源を水蒸気改質する補足工程、
・下記の反応(A):
CO+H2O→CO2+H2 (A)
によって定義される水性ガスシフト反応によるCO/H2比の調整を必要としない、一酸化炭素(CO)および水素(H2)を適切な割合で有する合成ガスの利用
を必要とする。
・下記の反応(3):
CH4+4S→CS2+2H2S (3)
に従う、メタンおよび硫黄からのCS2およびH2Sの生成
・下記の反応(4):
CS2+3H2→CH3SH+H2S (4)
に従う、上記で生成された水素を用いるCS2の水素化
を組み合わせる。
a)少なくとも1種の炭化水素供給材料を硫化水素(H2S)の存在下および場合により硫黄(S)の存在下で反応させ、二硫化炭素(CS2)および水素(H2)を生成する工程、
b)工程a)で得られた二硫化炭素(CS2)を、工程a)で得られた水素(H2)の存在下で水素化反応させ、メチルメルカプタン(CH3SH)、硫化水素(H2S)および場合により水素(H2)を生成する工程、
c)場合により、ただし好ましくは、工程b)で生成された硫化水素(H2S)を工程a)へ再循環させる工程、
d)工程b)で生成されたメチルメルカプタンを硫黄と反応させ、ジメチルジスルフィドおよび硫化水素を生成する工程、
e)場合により工程d)で生成された硫化水素を工程a)へ再循環させる工程ならびに
f)ジメチルジスルフィドを回収する工程
を含む、方法を提供する。
CH4+2H2S→CS2+4H2 (5)
に従う炭化水素供給材料(ここで例示されるのはメタン)と硫化水素(H2S)の間の反応である。
CS2+4H2→CH3SH+H2S+H2 (6)
に従い、同様に工程a)で生成された水素を用いて触媒的水素化を受ける。
S+H2→H2S (B)
に従って硫黄と反応させて、不足量の硫化水素を合成することを検討してもよい。
2CH3SH+S→CH3SSCH3+H2S (8)
に従い硫黄と反応させられる。
CH4+S+H2S→CS2+3H2 (9)
の通りに書き表され得、そのときの本方法の工程b)は、反応スキーム(4):
CS2+3H2→CH3SH+H2S (4)
で示され得る。
CaH2b+2aH2S→aCS2+(2a+b)H2
となる(式中、aが1を表す場合bは2を表すという制限の下、aは、整数であり、好ましくは1から30の間(端点を含む)の整数であり、より好ましくは1から20の間(端点を含む)の整数であり、より好ましくは1から10の間(端点を含む)の整数であり、bは、a/2から2(a+1)の間(端点を含む)の整数を表す。)。
%CCH4=[(n0CH4−nCH4残余)/n0CH4]×100
式中、n0CH4はCH4の最初のモル数であり、nCH4残余は未反応のCH4のモル数である。
%CCS2=[(n0CS2−nCS2残余)/n0CS2]×100
式中、n0CS2はCS2の最初のモル数であり、nCS2残余は未反応のCS2のモル数である。
%SCH3SH=[nCH3SH/(n0CS2−nCS2残余)]×100
式中、nCH3SHは、本発明に係る方法において生成されたCH3SHのモル数である。
%SCS2=[nCS2/(n0CH4−nCH4残余)]×100
式中、nCS2は、本発明に係る方法において生成されたCS2のモル数である。
アルミナ上に担持された白金を0.5重量%含む触媒を12グラム含有する、STREMから販売されているIncoloy(登録商標)800HT反応器をオーブン内に入れる。触媒は2層のカーボランダムの間に挿入する。
実施例2では、10NL/h(すなわち446mmol/h)のメタンに5.7g/h(すなわち178mmol/h)で硫黄を添加し、20NL/hのH2Sを10NL/h(446mmol/h)まで減らして、実施例1を繰り返した。硫黄は130℃の液体形態で他の反応物と共に反応器の頂部へ導入される。反応器の初期温度は900℃の温度に維持され、内部圧力は絶対圧で3bar(3×105Pa)に維持される。流出気体の流量は、標準状態の温度および圧力の下で28NL/hである。
実施例1の第一の工程の触媒を、アルミナ上に担持されたパラジウムを2重量%含む触媒(Engelhard)30mLに置き換えた。続いて700℃、800℃および900℃で反応を行った。結果を表1にまとめる。
実施例1の第一の工程の触媒を、直径0.4mmの白金線60cmに置き換えた。続いて900℃で反応を行った。結果を表1にまとめる。
実施例1の第一の工程の触媒を、白金およびロジウムで作製された20枚の重ね合わされたシート(シート1枚の厚さ=0.152mm、シート20枚の体積=0.611mL)(Umicore)に置き換えた。続いて900℃、1000℃および1100℃で反応を行った。結果を表1にまとめる。
実施例1の第一の工程の触媒を、アルミナ上に担持された酸化クロム(Cr2O3)を19重量%含む触媒(Sud−Chemieから販売されているT2777)30mLに置き換えた。Cr2O3をCr2S3に変換し、メタンとH2Sの主反応の間に含酸素生成物が生成することを防ぐため、H2S流(20NL/h)を用いて、触媒に事前の硫化処理を900℃で4時間施した。これらの含酸素生成物は、続くメチルメルカプタン回収工程の妨げとなり得る。続いて900℃で反応を行った。結果を下記の表1にまとめる。
硫黄の存在下でDMDSを生成するため、EP976726に記載されるように、実施例2で得られたメチルメルカプタン(MeSH)を含む反応混合物を、乾燥アンバーリストA21樹脂を含有する反応器へ導入する。液体硫黄はこの反応器へ導入する。操作圧力は相対圧で5.5bar(0.55MPa)に保たれ、温度は40℃に保たれる。反応器を出る反応混合物は、過剰のMeSHを除き、H2Sを除き、次の重量組成:DMDS85%、ポリジメチルスルフィド(PDMS)15%を有する。
・DMDS:99.7%
・PDMS:3000ppm
・MeSH:<100ppm
・DMS:<50ppm
を有する。
Claims (9)
- バッチ式または連続式で、ジメチルジスルフィドを製造する方法であって、少なくとも下記の工程:
a)少なくとも1種の炭化水素供給材料を、硫化水素(H2S)の存在下および場合により硫黄(S)の存在下で反応させ、二硫化炭素(CS2)および水素(H2)を生成する工程、
b)工程a)で得られた二硫化炭素(CS2)を、工程a)で得られた水素(H2)の存在下で水素化反応させ、メチルメルカプタン(CH3SH)、硫化水素(H2S)および場合により水素(H2)を生成する工程、
c)工程b)で生成された硫化水素(H2S)を工程a)へ再循環させる工程、
d)工程b)で生成されたメチルメルカプタンを硫黄と反応させ、ジメチルジスルフィドおよび硫化水素を生成する工程、
e)工程d)で生成された硫化水素を工程a)へ再循環させる工程、ならびに
f)ジメチルジスルフィドを回収する工程
を含む、方法。 - 炭化水素供給材料は、気体形態、液体形態または固体形態の炭化水素供給材料であり、および、飽和または不飽和の、直鎖状、分岐状または環状の炭化水素鎖を有する炭化水素を少なくとも1種含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 炭化水素供給材料が、少なくとも1種のアルカンを含む、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 炭化水素供給材料がメタンである、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程b)で場合により生成された水素を、硫黄と反応させて硫化水素を生成し得る、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程a)におけるH2S/炭化水素供給材料のモル比が、端点を含む、0.5から10の間である、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程a)における反応温度が、500℃から1300℃の間である、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程b)における反応温度が、100℃から400℃の間である、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記方法の間に生成された水素が、全てまたは部分的に熱エネルギーへ変換され、この熱エネルギーが工程a)、工程b)および/または工程d)における1つ以上の反応の加熱のために使用できる、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
