(a)核を含むガラスを形成するために、出発ガラスが、470〜560℃の温度で熱処理に供され、
(b)主結晶相として二ケイ酸リチウムを含むガラスセラミックを形成するために、核を含むガラスが、600〜750℃の温度で熱処理に供される。
(項目1)
MgO、CaO、SrO、BaO、ZnOおよびこれらの混合物から選択される二価の金属酸化物を含み、少なくとも12.1質量%のLi 2 Oを含む、ケイ酸リチウムガラスセラミック。
(項目2)
少なくとも6.1質量%のZrO 2 を含むケイ酸リチウムガラスセラミックが除かれる、項目1に記載のガラスセラミック。
(項目3)
少なくとも8.5質量%の遷移金属酸化物を含み、上記遷移金属酸化物が、イットリウム酸化物、原子番号が41〜79である遷移金属の酸化物、およびこれらの酸化物の混合物からなる群から選択されるケイ酸リチウムガラスセラミックが除かれる、項目1または2に記載のガラスセラミック。
(項目4)
1.0質量%未満、特に、0.5質量%未満、好ましくは、0.1質量%未満のK 2 Oを含み、特に好ましくは、K 2 Oを実質的に含まない、項目1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミック。
(項目5)
1.0質量%未満、特に、0.5質量%未満、好ましくは、0.1質量%未満のK 2 O、Na 2 O、およびこれらの混合物を含む、項目1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミック。
(項目6)
1.0質量%未満、特に、0.5質量%未満、好ましくは、0.1質量%未満のさらなるアルカリ金属酸化物を含み、特に好ましくは、これらの酸化物を実質的に含まない、項目1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミック。
(項目7)
0.1質量%未満のLa 2 O 3 を含み、好ましくは、これらを実質的に含まない、項目1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミック。
(項目8)
上記二価の金属酸化物またはこれらの混合物を0.1〜15質量%、特に、2.0〜12.0質量%、好ましくは、2.0〜8.0質量%の量で含む、項目1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミック。
(項目9)
上記二価の金属酸化物がSrOである、項目1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミック。
(項目10)
主結晶相としてメタケイ酸リチウムを有し、特に、5体積%より多く、好ましくは、10体積%より多く、特に好ましくは、15体積%より多いメタケイ酸リチウム結晶を有する、項目1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミック。
(項目11)
主結晶相として二ケイ酸リチウムを有し、特に、10体積%より多く、好ましくは、20体積%より多く、特に好ましくは、30体積%より多い二ケイ酸リチウム結晶を有する、項目1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミック。
(項目12)
55.0〜85.0質量%、特に、60.0〜82.0質量%、好ましくは、67.0〜79.0質量%のSiO 2 を含む、項目1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミック。
(項目13)
12.5〜20.0質量%、特に、15.0〜17.0質量%のLi 2 Oを含む、項目1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミック。
(項目14)
0〜10.0質量%、特に、2.0〜9.0質量%、好ましくは、3.0〜7.5質量%のP 2 O 5 を含む、項目1〜13のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミック。
(項目15)

主結晶相として二ケイ酸リチウムを有し、K IC 値として測定される、少なくとも1.9MPa・m 0.5 、特に、2.3MPa・m 0.5 より大きい破壊靱性を有する、項目1〜15のいずれか1項に記載のケイ酸リチウムガラスセラミック。
(項目17)
SiO 2 およびLi 2 Oを1.7〜3.1、特に、1.8〜3.0、または2.3〜2.5、特に、約2.4のモル比で含む、項目1〜16のいずれか1項に記載のケイ酸リチウムガラスセラミック。
(項目18)
5.0質量%未満、特に、0.1質量%未満のBaOを含み、好ましくは、BaOを実質的に含まない、項目1〜17のいずれか1項に記載のケイ酸リチウムガラスセラミック。
(項目19)
項目1〜9または12〜18のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミックの成分を含む、出発ガラス。
(項目20)
ケイ酸リチウムガラスであって、メタケイ酸リチウムおよび/または二ケイ酸リチウムの結晶を形成するのに適した核を含み、上記ガラスが、項目1〜9または12〜18のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミックの成分を含む、ケイ酸リチウムガラス。
(項目21)
上記ガラスおよび上記ガラスセラミックが、粉末、顆粒材料、ブランクまたは歯修復物の形態で存在する、項目1〜18のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミックまたは項目19もしくは20に記載のガラス。
(項目22)
項目1〜18もしくは21のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミック、または項目20もしくは21に記載のガラスを調製するプロセスであって、項目19もしくは21に記載の出発ガラス、項目20もしくは21に記載の核を含むガラス、または項目10、12〜18もしくは21のいずれか1項に記載の主結晶相としてメタケイ酸リチウムを含むガラスセラミックが、450〜950℃、特に、450〜750℃の範囲で少なくとも1つの熱処理に供される、プロセス。
(項目23)
(a)上記核を含むガラスを形成するために、上記出発ガラスが、470〜560℃の温度で熱処理に供され、
(b)上記主結晶相として二ケイ酸リチウムを含むガラスセラミックを形成するために、上記核を含むガラスが、600〜750℃の温度で熱処理に供される、項目22に記載のプロセス。
(項目24)
歯科材料としての、特に、歯修復物をコーティングするための歯科材料としての、好ましくは、歯修復物を調製するための歯科材料としての、項目1〜18もしくは21のいずれか1項に記載のガラスセラミックの使用、または項目19〜21のいずれか1項に記載のガラスの使用。
(項目25)
プレス加工または機械加工によって上記ガラスセラミックまたは上記ガラスが、望ましい歯修復物、特に、ブリッジ、インレー、オンレー、アバットメント、ベニア、部分的なクラウン、クラウンまたはファセットに成形される、項目24に記載の歯修復物を調製するための使用。
表Iに与えた組成を有する本発明の合計17種類のガラスおよびガラスセラミックを、対応する出発ガラスを溶融した後、制御された核生成および結晶化のための熱処理によって調製した。
TNおよびtN 核化に使用する温度および時間
TCおよびtC 二ケイ酸リチウムの結晶化に使用する温度および時間
LS メタケイ酸リチウム
LP オルトリン酸リチウム。
実施例1、2、7および12のガラスセラミックを粉砕し、平均粒径が90μm未満の粉末にした。
酸化物またはカーボネートの形態で対応する原材料をTurbulaミキサーで30分間混合し、次いで、白金るつぼでこの混合物を1450℃で120分溶融することによって、実施例9の組成物を含むガラスを調製した。微粒子顆粒ガラス材料を得るために、溶融物を水にそそいだ。特に高い均質性を有するガラス溶融物を得るために、この顆粒ガラス材料を1530℃で150分かけて再び溶融した。温度を30分かけて1500℃まで下げ、次いで、直径が12.5mmの円柱形ガラスブランクを、あらかじめ加熱しておいた分離可能な鋼鉄型またはグラファイト型にそそいだ。次いで、得られたガラス円柱形を560℃で核化し、応力を緩和した。
Claims (19)
- MgO、CaO、SrO、BaO、ZnOおよびこれらの混合物から選択される2.0〜15質量%の二価の金属酸化物、55.0〜85.0質量%のSiO2、12.1〜20.0質量%のLi2Oを含み、そして1.0質量%未満のK2O、Na2OまたはK2OとNa2Oの混合物、および0.1質量%未満のLa2O3を含む、プレス加工または機械加工するためのケイ酸リチウムガラスセラミックの調製のためのプロセスであって、
(a)二ケイ酸リチウム結晶を形成するために適切である二ケイ酸リチウムガラスセラミックの核を含むガラスを形成するために10分〜120分の期間の間、該ガラスセラミックの成分を含む出発ガラスが、470〜560℃の温度で熱処理に供され、
(b)主結晶相として二ケイ酸リチウムを有するガラスセラミックを形成するために、該二ケイ酸リチウムガラスセラミックの核を含むガラスが、600〜750℃の温度で熱処理に供される、プロセス。 - 前記ガラスセラミックが、6.1質量%未満のZrO2を含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、8.5質量%未満の遷移金属酸化物を含み、該遷移金属酸化物が、イットリウム酸化物、原子番号が41〜79である遷移金属の酸化物、およびこれらの酸化物の混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1または2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、0.5質量%未満のK2Oを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、K2Oを実質的に含まない、請求項4に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、0.5質量%未満のK2O、Na2OまたはK2OとNa2Oの混合物を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、1.0質量%未満のさらなるアルカリ金属酸化物を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、さらなるアルカリ金属酸化物を実質的に含まない、請求項7に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、前記二価の金属酸化物またはこれらの混合物を2.0〜12.0質量%の量で含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記二価の金属酸化物がSrOである、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、10体積%より多い二ケイ酸リチウム結晶を有する、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、60.0〜82.0質量%のSiO2を含む、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、12.5〜20.0質量%のLi2Oを含む、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、0〜10.0質量%のP2O5を含む、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、以下の成分:

- 前記ガラスセラミックが、KIC値として測定される、2.3MPa・m0.5より大きい破壊靱性を有する、請求項16に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、SiO2およびLi2Oを1.7〜3.1のモル比で含む、請求項1〜17のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ガラスセラミックが、5.0質量%未満のBaOを含む、請求項1〜18のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
