・染料Aにより透明光学物品に付与された色のバランスを少なくとも部分的に調整するための少なくとも1種の蛍光増白剤Bであって、前記少なくとも1種の蛍光増白剤Bが400〜460nm、好ましくは420〜450nmの範囲内の波長の光を蛍光により発し、且つ前記染料A及び前記蛍光増白剤Bが互いに異なる、蛍光増白剤Bと、
を含む透明光学物品を提供する。
I.有機溶媒性及び/又は水性の高温着色浴、好ましくは水性溶液中に基材を数分間浸漬することによる含浸方法又は浸染方法。
有機レンズ基材等の有機材料から作製された基材は、ほとんどの場合、90℃程度の温度に加熱された且つ染料が分散された水性着色浴中に浸漬することにより材料のバルク中で着色される。染料は、こうして基材の表面下に拡散し、色濃度は、基材の本体中に拡散する染料の量を調整することにより得られる。
II.含浸可能な一時的コーティングを必要とする特開2000−314088号公報及び特開2000−241601号公報に記載の拡散方法。又は
III.米国特許第6534443号明細書及び米国特許第6554873号明細書に記載されるように昇華性材料を用いた無接触着色。又は

- 透明光学レンズであって、
・400〜460nmの範囲内の波長を有する光を少なくとも部分的に阻止する少なくとも1種の染料Aと、

前記蛍光増白剤Bが、当該透明光学レンズの基材中又は前記基材上に被覆された層中に組み込まれ、前記蛍光増白剤Bが、前記基材の重量又は前記層の重量を基準にして、50ppm未満の量で使用される、透明光学レンズ。 - 前記少なくとも1種の染料Aが420〜450nmの範囲内の波長を有する光を少なくとも部分的に阻止する、請求項1に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 前記少なくとも1種の蛍光増白剤Bが420〜450nmの範囲内の波長の光を蛍光により発する、請求項1又は2に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 基材と前記基材上に被覆された少なくとも1つの層とを含み、前記少なくとも1種の染料A及び前記少なくとも1種の蛍光増白剤Bが、一緒に又は個別に、前記基材に及び/又は前記基材上に被覆された前記少なくとも1つの層に含まれるものとして更に規定される、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 80%超の可視スペクトル域の相対光透過率Tvを有するものとして更に規定される、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 85%超の可視スペクトル域の相対光透過率Tvを有するものとして更に規定される、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 前記染料Aが、ペリレン類、クマリン類、ポルフィリン類、アクリジン類、インドレニン類、及びインドール−2−イリデン類の中から選択される、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 前記蛍光増白剤Bが、スチルベン類、カルボスチリル類、クマリン類、1,3−ジフェニル−2−ピラゾリン類、ナフタルイミド類、及びベンゾオキサゾール類から選択される、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 前記蛍光増白剤Bが、ビス−ベンゾオキサゾール類、フェニルクマリン類、メチルクマリン類、及びビス−(スチリル)ビフェニル類から選択される、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 前記少なくとも1種の染料Aが、420〜450nmの範囲内の波長を有する光の1〜50%を阻止する、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 前記染料Aが、前記基材の重量を基準にして50ppm未満の量で前記基材中に組み込まれる、請求項4〜10のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 前記染料Aが、前記基材上に被覆された少なくとも1つの層中に前記層の重量を基準にして5000ppm未満の量で組み込まれる、請求項4〜10のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 前記蛍光増白剤Bが、前記基材の重量を基準にして50ppm未満の量で前記基材中に組み込まれる、請求項4〜12のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 前記蛍光増白剤Bが、前記基材上に被覆された少なくとも1つの層中に前記層の重量を基準にして50ppm未満の量で組み込まれる、請求項4〜12のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 10未満の黄色度指数Yiを有するものとして更に規定される、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- 40超の白色度指数Wiを有するものとして更に規定される、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
- パッシブなものとして更に規定される、請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に記載の透明光学レンズ。
