Claims (8)
- 軸方向に負荷される衝撃荷重を吸収する衝撃吸収部材あって、
上記衝撃吸収部材は、
金属板から構成され、上記軸方向と垂直な断面での形状が多角形状である本体と、
金属板から構成され、上記本体内の中空部に前記軸方向に沿って設けられる中板と
を備え、
上記本体の上記多角形状は、互いに対向する一対の長辺を有し、
上記中板は、上記本体の上記多角形状の各長辺に接合され、
上記本体の板厚t1(mm)、上記中板の板厚t2(mm)が下記(1)式を満足することを特徴とする衝撃吸収部材。
1.3×t1≦t2 ・・・(1) - 前記本体の板厚が2.3mm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記一対の長辺は、いずれも、前記長辺の幅W1(mm)が下記(2)式を満足することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の衝撃吸収部材。
W1/t1≧20 ・・・(2) - 前記本体は、1枚の金属板からなり、
前記中板は、前記本体の前記多角形状の各長辺に重ね合わせ溶接によって接合され、
前記一対の長辺は、いずれも、前記中板の幅方向の中央位置における前記中板の板厚中心から前記長辺の両端点までの前記長辺の幅方向に沿う距離d1a(mm)及びd1b
(mm)が下記(3)式を満足することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の衝撃吸収部材。
0.5≦d1a/d1b≦2 ・・・(3) - 前記本体は、前記多角形状の一部となる第1の金属板、及び、前記多角形状の残部となる第2の金属板から構成され、
前記第1の金属板及び前記第2の金属板は、前記多角形状の各長辺で前記中板とともに重ね合わせ溶接によって接合され、
前記一対の長辺は、いずれも、前記中板の幅方向の中央位置における前記中板の板厚中心から前記第1の金属板における前記長辺の端点までの前記長辺の幅方向に沿う距離d3a(mm)、及び、前記中板の幅方向の中央位置における前記中板の板厚中心から前記第2の金属板における前記長辺の端点までの前記長辺の幅方向に沿う距離d3b(mm)が下記(4)式を満足することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の衝撃吸収部材。
0.5≦(d3a/t1a)/(d3b/t1b)≦2 ・・・(4)
ただし、t1a(mm)は第1の金属板の板厚、t1b(mm)は第2の金属板の板厚である。 - 前記本体を構成する金属板は、引張強度780MPa以上の鋼板であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項の衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記中板を構成する金属板のヤング率が180GPa以上であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項の衝撃吸収部材。
- 自動車のクラシュボックス、又はフロントサイドメンバー、リアサイドメンバー、サイドシル、若しくはフロアクロスメンバーであることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項の衝撃吸収部材。
