式(2)中、v≧0、0.1≦x≦0.9、0.1≦y≦0.9、0.1≦z≦0.9、(x+y+z)/2<w<(x+y+z)×3。x、y、z、wが上記範囲内であれば、良好な充放電容量及び向上された容量維持率を有する二次電池を得ることができる。
電極材料の作製
Sn含有前駆体粉末、Mn含有前駆体粉末、及びNi含有前駆体粉末をそれぞれ2Dボールミルで粉砕した。Sn含有前駆体粉末、Mn含有前駆体粉末、及びNi含有前駆体粉末を混合し、加圧して生ペレット(直径1cm)にした。生ペレットを高温炉で加熱した。加熱速度を5℃/分とし、100℃に2時間保持して水分を蒸発させた。次いで、1000℃以上に昇温し、10時間以上保持した後、室温まで冷却した。焼結されたSn−Mn−Ni酸化物ブロックが破壊され、粉末が粉砕された。
Sn−Mn−Ni酸化物、導電性炭素(スーパー‐P)、及びポリマーバインダー(ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF))をN‐メチルピロリドン(NMP)溶媒に溶解し、7:2:1の重量比で混合した。5個のジルコニアボール(直径3mm)と0.2gのジルコニアボール(直径1mm)を加え、攪拌機(公転速度2000rpm、自転速度800rpm)によって30分間混合した。
[電池サイクル寿命試験]
実施例1で作製したボタン型電池について、15℃〜30℃、電圧0.01V〜3Vで電池サイクル寿命の容量試験を行った。図2は、実施例1の電池のサイクル寿命曲線を示した図である。図2によれば、本発明のSn−Mn−Ni酸化物で形成される電池は、高いサイクル数(>250)で容量が劣化されなくむしろ増加するため、良好な安定性を有することがわかる。また、本発明のSn−Mn−Ni酸化物を電極材料として使用した電池は、市販のグラファイトを使用した場合(理論容量値372mAh/g)と比べて容量が高いため、本発明のSn−Mn−Ni酸化物は電池の性能を効果的に向上させ得ることがわかる。
実施例1の電池について、ポテンシオスタットを用いてサイクリックボルタンメトリーを行い、0.1mV/秒の速度で0.01V〜3Vの電位範囲においてサイクリック電位スキャンを行った。

Claims (6)
- 下記式(1)で表されるスズ−マンガン−ニッケル(Sn−Mn−Ni)酸化物を含む、二次電池用アノード材料。

ここで、0.1≦x≦0.9、0.1≦y≦0.9、0.1≦z≦0.9、(x+y+z)/2<w<(x+y+z)×3。 - 前記Sn−Mn−Ni酸化物が単結晶、微結晶、多結晶、又はアモルファス材料である、請求項1に記載の二次電池用アノード材料。
- 前記二次電池用アノード材料が単相又は多相である、請求項1に記載の二次電池用アノード材料。
- 前記二次電池用アノード材料が、酸素元素と、Mn、Ni、Sn元素のいずれかとからなる二元系金属酸化物、酸素元素と、Mn、Ni、Sn元素の中の二つとからなる三元系金属酸化物、又はそれらの組合せを更に含む、請求項1に記載の二次電池用アノード材料。
- カソードと、
前記カソードと別に配置され、請求項1に記載の二次電池用アノード材料を含むアノードと、
前記カソードと前記アノードとの間に配置される電解質と、
前記アノード、前記カソード、及び前記電解質を覆うパッケージ構造と、を備える二次電池。 - 前記アノードと前記カソードとの間に配置されるセパレータを更に含み、前記セパレータと前記アノードと前記カソードとが収納領域を規定し、前記電解質が前記収納領域内に配置される、請求項5に記載の二次電池。
