Description
図1は、モノリス型分離膜構造体100の斜視図である。図2は、図1のA−A断面図である。図3は、図2のB−B断面図である。
まず、多孔質材料を含む坏土を用いて、複数の貫通孔THを有する基材211の成形体を形成する。基材211の成形体を形成する方法としては、真空押出成形機を用いた押出成形法のほかプレス成型法や鋳込み成型法を用いることができる。
以上、本発明の一実施形態について説明したが、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の変更が可能である。
以下のようにして、サンプルNo.1〜14に係るモノリス型分離膜構造体を作製した。
各サンプルを分離装置に組み込んで、DDR膜の内部(すなわち、セル)に加圧水を流通させ、各サンプルが破壊されるまで徐々に加圧力を大きくした。表1では、各サンプルが破壊されたときの加圧力(MPa)を破壊強度として記載してある。

Claims (12)
- 多孔質材料によって構成され、複数の貫通孔を有する基材と、
前記複数の貫通孔の内表面に形成される第1支持層と、
前記第1支持層の内側に配置される分離膜と、
を備え、
前記第1支持層は、アルミナと、チタニアと、シリカ及びマグネシアの少なくとも一方とを含有し、
前記第1支持層において、チタニア粒子は、アルミナ粒子の少なくとも一部を被覆する結合ネックを形成し、
前記第1支持層において、シリカ及びマグネシアの少なくとも一方は、アルミナ粒子とチタニア粒子との粒界に存在する、
モノリス型分離膜構造体。 - 前記第1支持層がシリカを含む場合、前記第1支持層におけるシリカ濃度は、0.1重量%以上40重量%以下である、
請求項1に記載のモノリス型分離膜構造体。 - 前記第1支持層におけるシリカ濃度は、0.25重量%以上6重量%以下である、
請求項2に記載のモノリス型分離膜構造体。 - 前記第1支持層がマグネシアを含む場合、前記第1支持層におけるマグネシア濃度は、0.1重量%以上20重量%以下である、
請求項1に記載のモノリス型分離膜構造体。 - 前記第1支持層におけるマグネシア濃度は、0.5重量%以上5重量%以下である、
請求項4に記載のモノリス型分離膜構造体。 - 前記第1支持層がシリカとマグネシアの両方を含む場合、前記第1支持層におけるシリカ濃度は0.1重量%以上40重量%以下であり、前記第1支持層におけるマグネシア濃度は0.1重量%以上20重量%以下である、
請求項1に記載のモノリス型分離膜構造体。 - 前記第1支持層の内表面に形成される第2支持層を備え、
前記分離膜は、前記第2支持層の内表面に形成されており、
前記第2支持層は、アルミナと、シリカ及びマグネシアの少なくとも一方とを含有する、
請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のモノリス型分離膜構造体。 - 前記第2支持層がシリカを含む場合、前記第2支持層におけるシリカ濃度は、0.01重量%以上40重量%以下である、
請求項7に記載のモノリス型分離膜構造体。 - 前記第2支持層がマグネシアを含む場合、前記第2支持層におけるマグネシア濃度は、0.01重量%以上40重量%以下である、
請求項7に記載のモノリス型分離膜構造体。 - 前記第2支持層がシリカとマグネシアの両方を含む場合、前記第2支持層におけるシリカ濃度は0.01重量%以上10重量%以下であり、前記第2支持層におけるマグネシア濃度は0.01重量%以上10重量%以下である、
請求項7に記載のモノリス型分離膜構造体。 - 多孔質材料を用いて、複数の貫通孔を有する基材の成形体を形成する工程と、
前記基材の成形体を焼成する工程と、
アルミナを主成分とする骨材と、チタニアを主成分とする無機結合材と、シリカ及びマグネシアの少なくとも一方を主成分とする焼結助剤とを含有する材料を用いて、前記複数の貫通孔の内表面に第1支持層の成形体を形成する工程と、
前記第1支持層の成形体を焼成する工程と、
前記第1支持層の内側に分離膜を形成する工程と、
を備え、
前記第1支持層において、チタニア粒子は、アルミナ粒子の少なくとも一部を被覆する結合ネックを形成し、
前記第1支持層において、シリカ及びマグネシアの少なくとも一方は、チタニア粒子間、及び、チタニア粒子とアルミナ粒子との粒界に存在する、
モノリス型分離膜構造体の製造方法。 - 前記第1支持層の内表面に第2支持層の成形体を形成する工程と、
前記第2支持層の成形体を焼成する工程と、
前記第2支持層の内表面に前記分離膜を形成する工程と、
を備える、
請求項11に記載のモノリス型分離膜構造体の製造方法。
