Description
本出願は、2015年1月9日出願の米国仮特許出願第62/101,743号「複式並流接触器を用いる流体流からの不純物の分離」の優先権を主張し、その開示内容全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
(技術分野)
本発明は、複式並流接触器を用いて流体流から不純物を分離する方法、装置、及びシステムに関する。
Claims (6)
- 汚染流体流を汚染除去する方法であって、
前記汚染流体流を受け入れる段階と、
前記汚染流体流を単一の圧力境界を共有する第1の複数の分離ユニットにわたって実質的に均等に分配する段階であって、前記第1の複数の分離ユニットの各々が、パイプ内で直列に配置され、前記汚染流体流を溶媒流と接触させる入口セクションと、該入口セクションの下流に設けられ前記汚染流体流と前記溶媒流の一部分を並列的に接触させる物質移動セクションと、該物質移動セクションの下流に設けられリッチ溶媒流と汚染除去流体流とを生成する分離セクションとを有している、段階と、
前記溶媒流を受け入れる段階と、
前記第1の複数の分離ユニットの入口セクションの各々の中で、前記汚染流体流を前記溶媒流と並流的に接触させる段階と、
前記汚染流体流の一部分と前記溶媒流とを、前記第1の複数の分離ユニットの各々の物質移動セクションを通過させる段階と、
前記第1の複数の分離ユニットの各々の分離セクション内で、リッチ溶媒流と汚染除去流体流とを生成する段階と、
前記第1の複数の分離ユニットの各々から前記リッチ溶媒流を移動させる段階であって、前記第1の複数の分離ユニットの各々からの前記リッチ溶媒流が第1のリッチ溶媒流である、段階と、
前記第1の複数の分離ユニットの各々から前記汚染除去流体流を移動させる段階と、
前記第1の複数の分離ユニットで生成された複数の前記汚染除去流体流を、前記単一の圧力境界を共有する第2の複数の分離ユニットに移動させる段階であって、前記第2の複数の分離ユニットの各々が、前記複数の汚染流体流を前記溶媒流と接触させる入口セクションと、該入口セクションの下流に設けられ前記複数の汚染流体流と前記溶媒流の一部分を並列的に接触させる物質移動セクションと、該物質移動セクションの下流に設けられリッチ溶媒流と汚染除去流体流とを生成する分離セクションとを有している、段階と、
第2の溶媒流を受け入れる段階と、
前記第2の複数の分離ユニットの入口セクションの各々の中で、前記複数の汚染除去流体流を前記第2の溶媒流と並流的に接触させる段階と、を含む、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第2の複数の分離ユニットの各々で、前記複数の汚染除去流体流及び前記第2の溶媒流を使用して、第2の汚染除去流体流及び第2のリッチ溶媒流を生成する段階と、
前記第2の複数の分離ユニットの各々から、前記第2のリッチ溶媒流を移動させる段階と、
前記第1のリッチ溶媒流と前記第2のリッチ溶媒流とを結合して廃棄物流を生成する段階と、
前記廃棄物流を流出させる段階と、
前記第2の複数の分離ユニットの各々から、前記第2の汚染除去流体流を移動させる段階と、をさらに含む、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第2の溶媒流は、前記第1の溶媒流よりもリーンである、
請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記汚染流体流は、水、硫化水素(H2S)、二酸化炭素(CO2)、二酸化硫黄(SO2)、二硫化炭素(CS2)、硫化カルボニル(COS)、メルカプタン、又はこれらの何らかの組み合わせで汚染される、
請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記複数の分離ユニットは、前記単一の圧力境界を共有する前記分離ユニットの全てよりも少なく、前記方法は、
前記単一の圧力境界を共有する前記分離ユニットの第1の部分が前記汚染流体流にさらされるのを排除する段階をさらに含む、
請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記分離ユニットの前記第1の部分を排除する段階は、前記汚染流体流を、前記分離ユニットの前記第1の部分への1又は2以上の入口に共通な入口プレナムに供給することを妨げる段階を含む、
請求項5に記載の方法。
