Claims (2)
- 車体フレームに対してピボット軸を介して上下に揺動可能に連結されるスイングアームであって、
前記ピボット軸が挿通されるピボットパイプを有するメインボディと、
前記メインボディから後方に向かって延びる左右一対のアーム部とを備え、
前記メインボディは、鋳造で形成されて中空構造を有しており、
前記メインボディには、内部空間を上下に仕切るリブが設けられ、
前記メインボディの外面形状を規定する外壁部は、
前記ピボットパイプの外面から斜め上方に延びる上壁部と、
前記ピボットパイプの外面から水平方向に延びる下壁部と、
前記上壁部の上端と前記下壁部の後端とを接続する立壁部と、を有し、
前記リブは、前記立壁部から前方に向かって延びた後、前記メインボディの前側で斜め下方に屈曲して前記ピボットパイプの中心に向かって前記上壁部と平行に延び、前記上壁部と下壁部との間における前記ピボットパイプの円弧部分を二分割する位置で前記ピボットパイプに接続されることを特徴とするスイングアーム。 - 前記リブは、前記アーム部の外面に沿うように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスイングアーム。
