Description
後述する実施の形態の利点を明確にするため、まず比較対象となる技術として比較例を説明する。
図1は、バックアップ負荷61,62,63,…及びその他の一般負荷5と、これらに対して給電する車載用電源装置100Aとの接続関係を示す回路図である。
車載用電源装置100Aは主電池1、副電池2、電源ボックス30Aを備える。車載用電源装置100C,100Dと同様に、車載用電源装置100Aは、副電池2と共に電源ボックス3を挟んでこれらと共に直列接続されるヒューズを更に備えることが望ましい。ここでは当該ヒューズは、第1比較例及び第2比較例と同様、ヒューズボックス4に収納される場合が例示される。
副電池2の充電率が低い場合、スイッチ31が導通して主電池1及びオルタネータ9の少なくとも何れか一方によって副電池2が充電される。この際、主電池1と副電池2との間に電流が流れるとしても、それは主電池1から副電池2へと向かって流れる充電電流であり、両者に悪影響を与えることはない。副電池2の充電率が適正範囲となった場合、スイッチ31が非導通となって副電池2への充電は停止される。
図2は、バックアップ負荷61,62,63,…及びその他の一般負荷5と、これらに対して給電する車載用電源装置100Bとの接続関係を示す回路図である。
車載用電源装置100Bは、第1の実施の形態で説明された車載用電源装置100Aのうち、電源ボックス30Aを、電源ボックス30Bに置換した構成を有している。電源ボックス30Bは、スイッチ31、リレー35、ヒューズ32を有している。
副電池2の充電時には、第1の実施の形態と同様にスイッチ31が導通し、主電池1及びオルタネータ9の少なくとも何れか一方によって副電池2が充電される。この際、主電池1と副電池2との間に電流が流れるとしても、それは主電池1から副電池2へと向かって流れる充電電流であり、両者に悪影響を与えることはない。
電源ボックス30Bにおいて、リレー35が第3接点35aを有しない、あるいは使用しない態様でも、第2の実施の形態の効果が得られる。図3はかかる変形を示す回路図である。第2の実施の形態においてヒューズ32は第1接点35cのみならず、端31aとも接続されている。またリレー35において第1接点35cと第2接点35bとはノーマリークローズである(第2接点35bはブレーク接点である)。

Claims (2)
- 車載用の主電池と、
スイッチと、
前記主電池に前記スイッチを介して接続される車載用の副電池と、
少なくとも一つの第1接点と、前記第1接点と対を成して前記副電池に接続される第2接点とを有し、いずれの前記対についても前記第1接点と前記第2接点とはノーマリークローズであり、少なくとも前記対が非導通の状態において全ての前記第1接点が前記スイッチの前記副電池と反対側の第1端と接続されるリレーと
を備え、
前記対が導通の状態においても全ての前記第1接点が前記第1端と接続される、車載用電源装置。 - 請求項1記載の車載用電源装置であって、
前記対は、前記副電池からの給電の対象たる負荷毎に設けられる、車載用電源装置。
