Abstract
Description
本発明の2系統の電源ラインを冗長的に構成した車両用電源システムでは、補機バッテリーを2つに分割して用意し、手動運転時には2つの補機バッテリーを主電源ラインに並列接続して使用し、自動運転時には2つの補機バッテリーを分割して各電源ラインにそれぞれ接続して使用する。この構成により、手動運転時には1つの補機バッテリーとして、自動運転時には補機バッテリーの1つをバックアップ電源として利用できるので、バッテリーのコストや重量を低減することができる。
図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係る車両用電源システム1の概略構成を示す図である。図1に示した車両用電源システム1は、第1のバッテリー11と、第2のバッテリー12と、接続制御装置20と、負荷30と、第3のバッテリー40と、第1のDCDCコンバーター(DDC)51と、第2のDCDCコンバーター(DDC)52と、を備えて構成されている。
次に、図2A、図2B、及び図2Cをさらに参照して、本発明の一実施形態に係る車両用電源システム1の接続制御装置20が実行するスイッチ21〜24の接続制御を説明する。
上述した本実施形態に係る車両用電源システム1、2によれば、車両が手動運転状態である場合は、第1のバッテリー11及び第2のバッテリー12の両方を第1系統の電源ライン101に並列接続する。この構成により、第1のバッテリー11及び第2のバッテリー12は、負荷30が要求する電力を2つの合計容量で賄えばよくなるため、1つのバッテリーで負荷が要求する電力を賄わなければならない構成に比べて、電源システム1、2に搭載するバッテリーの総容量が小さくなる。

Claims (3)
- 手動運転と自動運転とを切り替え可能な車両に搭載される車両用電源システムであって、
それぞれ独立して設けられる第1系統の電源ライン及び第2系統の電源ラインの一方又は両方から電力供給を受けることが可能な負荷と、
第1のバッテリーと、
第2のバッテリーと、
車両の状態に基づいて前記電源ラインと前記バッテリーとの接続を制御する接続制御装置と、を備え、
前記接続制御装置は、車両が手動運転状態である場合は、前記第1のバッテリー及び前記第2のバッテリーの両方を前記第1系統の電源ラインに並列接続する、
車両用電源システム。 - 前記接続制御装置は、車両が自動運転状態である場合は、前記第1のバッテリーを前記第1系統の電源ラインに接続し、前記第2のバッテリーを前記第2系統の電源ラインに接続する、
請求項1に記載の車両用電源システム。 - 前記接続制御装置は、前記第1系統の電源ライン及び前記第2系統の電源ラインの一方で電源失陥が発生した場合は、前記第1のバッテリー及び前記第2のバッテリーの両方を前記第1系統の電源ライン及び前記第2系統の電源ラインの他方に並列接続する、
