Description
本発明の第2の態様によると、第1の態様のステントにおいて、複数の素線のうちの一部の偶数本の素線に対して、プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線を配置する。
本発明の第3の態様によると、第2の態様のステントにおいて、複数の素線のうちの2本の素線に対して、プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線を配置する。
本発明の第4の態様によると、第1〜第3の態様のステントにおいて、複数の素線のうちの同じ巻き方向の素線に対して、プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線を配置する。
本発明の第5の態様によると、第1〜第4の態様のステントにおいて、複数の素線は、コバルトクロム合金を素材とする素線であって、プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線は、プラチナイリジウム合金を素材とする素線である。
(1)複数の素線がらせん状に編み込まれたステントにおいて、複数の素線のうちの一部の素線に対して、プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線を配置し、プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線の長さを、他の素線の長さよりも、プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線がステントから飛び出すことが予測される長さ分短くした。これによって、Co−Cr素線とPt−Ir素線の性質の違いにより、Co−Cr素線とPt−Ir素線を同じ長さにすると、ステントが拡張したときにPt−Ir素線がステント端から飛び出してしまう可能性があるが、これを防ぐことができる。
なお、上述した実施の形態のステントは、以下のように変形することもできる。
(1)上述した実施の形態では、ステントに配置する2本のプラチナを含んだ合金を素材とした素線として、プラチナイリジウム合金を素材とするPt−Ir素線を配置する例について説明した。しかしながら、ステントに配置する素材として適切であり、かつX線不透過性を有するプラチナを含んだ合金を素材であれば、Pt−Ir素線に限定されない。

Claims (5)
- 複数の素線がらせん状に編み込まれたステントであって、
前記複数の素線のうちの一部の素線に対して、プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線を配置し、
前記プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線の長さは他の素線の長さよりも所定の長さ分短くされており、前記所定の長さは、前記プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線と他の素線の長さを同じにした場合に、前記ステントが拡張したときに前記プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線がステントから飛び出すことが予測される長さであることを特徴とするステント。 - 請求項1に記載のステントにおいて、
前記複数の素線のうちの一部の偶数本の素線に対して、前記プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線を配置することを特徴とするステント。 - 請求項2に記載のステントにおいて、
前記複数の素線のうちの2本の素線に対して、前記プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線を配置することを特徴とするステント。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のステントにおいて、
前記複数の素線のうちの同じ巻き方向の素線に対して、前記プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線を配置することを特徴とするステント。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のステントにおいて、
前記複数の素線は、コバルトクロム合金を素材とする素線であって、
前記プラチナを含む合金を素材とした素線は、プラチナイリジウム合金を素材とする素線であることを特徴とするステント。
