Description
(1)本発明の光学ガラスは、下記、酸化物基準のモル%表示で、B2O3:60.07〜80%、La2O3:5〜32%、Gd2O3:0〜25%、Y2O3:6.26〜20%、Yb2O3:0〜0.15%を含有し、フッ素を含有せず、前記La2O3、Gd2O3およびY2O3の希土類成分において、該希土類成分の総量に対する各成分の含有量の比が、0≦Gd2O3/Ln2O3<0.21のとき、0.50≦La2O3/Ln2O3≦0.714、0.12≦Y2O3/Ln2O3≦0.345を満たす範囲、Gd2O3/Ln2O3≧0.21のとき、0.40≦La2O3/Ln2O3≦0.74、0≦Y2O3/Ln2O3≦0.25を満たす範囲(ここで、Ln2O3は、希土類成分La2O3、Gd2O3およびY2O3の総量を表す。)であり、前記Ln 2 O 3 が40%以下であって、屈折率ndが1.736〜1.765、アッベ数νdが56以下であり、かつνd≧(−45.131×nd+132.001)の関係式を満たすことを特徴とする。
一方、比較例である例140、例141は希土類成分が耐失透性の改善に適した範囲を満たしていないため、ガラス成形中に失透が発生し、耐失透性に問題があった。例142はアッベ数が小さく、本発明の所望の範囲に達していない。
Claims (5)
- 下記、酸化物基準のモル%表示で、
B2O3:60.07〜80%、
La2O3:5〜32%、
Gd2O3:0〜25%、
Y2O3:6.26〜20%、
Yb2O3:0〜0.15%、
を含有し、フッ素を含有せず、
前記La2O3、Gd2O3およびY2O3の希土類成分において、該希土類成分の総量に対する各成分の含有量の比が、0≦Gd2O3/Ln2O3<0.21のとき、0.50≦La2O3/Ln2O3≦0.714、0.12≦Y2O3/Ln2O3≦0.345を満たす範囲、Gd2O3/Ln2O3≧0.21のとき、0.40≦La2O3/Ln2O3≦0.74、0≦Y2O3/Ln2O3≦0.25を満たす範囲(ここで、Ln2O3は、希土類成分La2O3、Gd2O3およびY2O3の総量を表す。)であり、前記Ln 2 O 3 が40%以下であって、
屈折率ndが1.736〜1.765、アッベ数νdが56以下であり、かつ、νd≧(−45.131×nd+132.001)の関係式を満たすことを特徴とする光学ガラス。 - さらに、下記、酸化物基準のモル%表示で、
SiO2:0〜25%、
Li2O:0〜10%、
ZnO:0〜15%、
MgO:0〜15%、
CaO:0〜15%、
SrO:0〜15%、
BaO:0〜15%、
ZrO2:0〜10%、
Al2O3:0〜10%
を含有する請求項1に記載の光学ガラス。 - 前記Ln2O3が、18〜40%である請求項1または2に記載の光学ガラス。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の光学ガラスからなるプレス成形用プリフォーム。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の光学ガラスからなる光学素子。
