Claims (4)
- 環状の固定子ヨークの径方向外側に放射状に複数の歯を有する固定子コアと、前記歯に卷回された固定子巻線とを有する固定子と、
環状の回転子ヨークの内面に前記歯と空隙を挟んで対向する複数の永久磁石を有する回転子と、を備えたアウターロータ型モータであって、
各前記永久磁石は径方向に着磁されており、
前記回転子の極数をPとし、前記歯の数をNとした場合に、2N/3Pが整数ではなく、
前記歯の周方向表面の幅が前記歯のピッチのほぼ1/2であり、前記歯の前記周方向表面の端部に面取り部が設けられ、
前記永久磁石の周方向幅が、前記永久磁石のピッチの90〜95%であり、前記永久磁石の外周面と内周面とが円弧状に形成されており、前記永久磁石の前記内周面が前記固定子側に突出し、前記外周面の曲率が前記内周面の曲率よりも大きいことを特徴とするアウターロータ型モータ。 - 前記回転子の極数を20、前記歯の数を24としたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のアウターロータ型モータ。
- 前記永久磁石の周方向の両端面がそれぞれ平面をなし、該両端面のなす角が前記永久磁石の前記外周面の中心角よりも大きく形成されており、
前記回転子ヨークの内周面に、前記永久磁石の前記周方向両端面に当接する突起部を設けたことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のアウターロータ型モータ。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のアウターロータ型モータが、車輪のホイールに設けられ、前記車輪が前記アウターロータ型モータによって直接駆動されることを特徴とする電気自動車。
