Claims (14)
- カテーテルシャフトと、
前記カテーテルシャフトに連結される拡張可能な部材と、
前記拡張可能な部材に連結される可撓性を備えた電極アセンブリであって、前記可撓性を備えた電極アセンブリは、1つ以上のマイクロヒータ経路を有するマイクロヒータの形態の抵抗部材を各々が含む1つ以上の電極を含む、可撓性を備えた電極アセンブリと、
前記可撓性を備えた電極アセンブリに電気的エネルギーを付与するように構成されるとともに前記可撓性を備えた電極アセンブリに連結される制御装置とを備え、
前記マイクロヒータ経路は、前記拡張可能な部材の折りたたみを支援するべく前記拡張可能な部材上にパターン形成されることを特徴とする医療器具。 - 前記拡張可能な部材は拡張可能なバルーンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記可撓性を備えた電極アセンブリは複極式電極アセンブリを含むことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の医療器具。
- 前記可撓性を備えた電極アセンブリは、患者の体外への電気的な経路を完成することなく、前記抵抗部材の周囲に熱エネルギーを局地化することができることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療器具。
- 目的の領域に熱エネルギーを供給するために、直流が前記抵抗部材を通過することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療器具。
- 前記可撓性を備えた電極アセンブリは0.127ミリメートル未満の径を有する1本以上のワイヤを含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療器具。
- 前記制御装置は電源を含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療器具。
- 前記1つ以上の電極のうちの少なくとも1つに隣接して配置される温度センサを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療器具。
- 前記可撓性を備えた電極アセンブリはアクティブトレースおよびリターントレースを含み、前記抵抗部材は前記アクティブトレースとリターントレースとの間を延びる抵抗器であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療器具。
- 前記マイクロヒータは、寸法が0.2032ミリメートル×0.2032ミリメートル以下であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至9のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療器具。
- 前記マイクロヒータは、5秒で1.5ボルトの電気を使用して摂氏90度まで熱されるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至10のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療器具。
- 前記マイクロヒータ経路は、金属注入高分子複合材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至11のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療器具。
- 前記金属注入高分子複合材料は、ポリジメチルシロキサン(PDMS)および銀の金属粒子からなることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の医療器具。
- 前記電気的エネルギーは2.5ボルト以下の低電圧電流により生じることを特徴とする請求項1乃至13のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療器具。
