Description
Claims (8)
- 車両に搭載される物標検出装置(100)であって、
レーダ(21)による検出情報に基づいて検出されたレーダ検出物標について、前記車両の車幅方向をX軸、前記車両の車長方向をY軸、としたXY平面における、前記車両内の基点に対する前記レーダ検出物標の相対位置を表す検出点であるレーダ検出点、又は、前記レーダ検出点を含むレーダ検出領域、をレーダ物標位置情報として特定するレーダ特定部(10)と、
撮像装置(22)による撮像画像に基づいて検出された画像検出物標について、前記XY平面における、前記基点に対する前記画像検出物標の相対位置を表す領域である画像検出領域を、画像物標位置情報として特定する画像特定部(10)と、
前記XY平面において、前記レーダ物標位置情報が示す位置と前記画像物標位置情報が示す位置とに重複部が存在することを条件として、前記レーダ検出物標と前記画像検出物標とが同一の物標であると判定する同一物標判定部(10)と、
を備え、
前記画像特定部は、前記撮像画像において前記基点から前記画像検出物標のX軸方向における両端へのそれぞれの方位と、前記物標として検出されることが想定される対象の前記X軸方向における幅の最小値としての想定幅最小値と最大値としての想定幅最大値とに基づいて、前記XY平面における前記画像検出領域のY軸方向の範囲としてのY軸範囲を設定することを特徴とする物標検出装置。 - 前記画像特定部は、前記撮像画像において前記画像検出物標のX軸方向における両端への方位に基づいて定まる方位範囲のX軸方向の幅が、前記想定幅最小値と一致する前記Y軸上の値をY軸最小値として算出し、前記方位範囲のX軸方向の幅が、前記想定幅最大値と一致する前記Y軸上の値をY軸最大値として算出し、前記Y軸範囲を前記Y軸最小値から前記Y軸最大値までに設定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の物標検出装置。
- 前記物標の種類を判別する判別部(10)を備え、
前記画像特定部は、前記判別部により判別された前記物標の種類に応じて、前記想定幅最小値と前記想定幅最大値とを変更することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の物標検出装置。 - 前記判別部が判別する前記物標の種類は、バイクと、乗用車と、トラックと、であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の物標検出装置。
- 前記判別部が判別する前記物標の種類は、小型車と、中型車と、大型車と、であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の物標検出装置。
- 前記同一物標判定部は、前記画像検出領域の前記Y軸範囲を両方向に、誤差が生じることが想定される値としての第一想定誤差ずつ拡大させ、拡大させた前記画像検出領域と前記レーダ物標位置情報が示す位置とに基づいて、同一物標判定を行うことを特徴とすることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の物標検出装置。
- 前記画像特定部は、前記画像検出物標のX軸方向における両端から前記基点への方位に基づいて定まる方位範囲において前記画像検出領域を構築することを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の物標検出装置。
- 前記同一物標判定部は、前記画像検出領域を構築する前記方位範囲の角度幅を両方向に、誤差が生じることが想定される値としての第二想定誤差ずつ拡大させ、拡大させた前記画像検出領域と前記レーダ物標位置情報が示す位置とに基づいて、同一物標判定を行うことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の物標検出装置。
