Claims (5)
- ベース基板;
前記ベース基板上に形成される第1の電極;
前記第1の電極と対向するように形成され、前記第1の電極と共に微小空洞を形成する、第2の電極;
前記第1の電極と前記第2の電極との間に形成される少なくとも二つ以上の有機発光層;及び
互いに隣り合う前記有機発光層の間に形成される電荷生成層;
を含み、
前記電荷生成層は、仕事関数(work function)が異なる第1の金属層及び第2の金属層の積層構造からなり、
前記電荷生成層は、前記第1の金属層と前記第2の金属層との間に形成される絶縁層をさらに含み、
前記電荷生成層は、前記第1の金属層と前記第2の金属層との間に形成される半導体層をさらに含み、
前記電荷生成層は、0.1〜50nmの範囲の厚さで形成され、
前記絶縁層は、高分子絶縁層を含むか、あるいはWO x を含み、
前記半導体層は、共役高分子および共役分子のうちのいずれか一つを含むことを特徴とする、
タンデム型の白色有機発光素子。 - 前記第1の金属層は、前記第2の金属層よりも仕事関数が小さい金属からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のタンデム型の白色有機発光素子。
- 前記第1の金属層は、いずれか一つの前記有機発光層の電子層と接し、前記第2の金属層は、隣り合う他の一つの前記有機発光層の正孔層と接することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のタンデム型の白色有機発光素子。
- 前記第1の金属層は、Li、Cs、Na、Ba、Ca、Mg、及びAlのうちのいずれか一つまたは二つ以上の組み合わせからなることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のタンデム型の白色有機発光素子。
- 前記第2の金属層は、Au、Ag、Cu、Sn、Ti、及びAlのうちのいずれか一つまたは二つ以上の組み合わせからなることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のタンデム型の白色有機発光素子。
