本発明のFSTバリア層の組成
工程において、ウエイトを負荷したスクレーパーの先端部を、テストされるコーティングに配置し、テストされる表面に垂直に、その表面上で引っぱった。次に、テストしたコーティングに引っかき跡があるかどうかを目視で評価した。テスト時に、スクレーパーがコーティングを傷つけることなく負荷できるウエイトの最大質量が、コーティングの耐傷性の尺度である。
格子状の切込みを得るため、テスト試料のコーティングに6つの平行な切込みをカッターナイフでつける。コーティングの切込みは十分に深く、基板表面を傷つけることなく基板表面に届くほどである。そして、最初のものと垂直であり、且つ均一の正方形又は格子を形成するさらなる6つの平行な切込みをつける。格子の間隔は1mmである。得られた正方形に、8〜10N/25mmの付着力をもつクリアテープ又はクレープテープストリップを貼り付ける。これを0.5〜1秒の時間内に60°の角度で取り去る。そして、格子又はコーティングを目視で評価する。格子状切込みの特性値Gt0は、非常に良好な付着の強さに相当し、特性値Gt5は非常に小さい付着の強さに相当する。
コーティングの燃焼性をPt.25、App.F、part.I、para5に従って測定した。コーティングされた試料を水平に配置してガスバーナーで60秒間燃やした。次に、コーティングを燃焼した長さ距離を測定した(炎の長さ)。さらに、ガスバーナーの除去後のコーティングの燃焼持続時間(燃焼後時間)、又はテスト試料の燃焼材料の滴下持続時間(滴下後時間)を測定した。サンドイッチパネルA2とモノリシックガラス繊維積層板B2をこのテストのテスト試料として用いた。
Pt.25、App.F、part.Vに従って、コーティング燃焼時に発生した燃焼排ガスの特定光学燃焼排ガス密度を測定した。サンドイッチパネルA2をこのテストのテスト試料として用いた。
毒性材料上のコーティング燃焼時に発生した煙の組成を調査した。このため、特定光学燃焼排ガス密度の上述の調査において、燃焼排ガスにおけるシアン化水素(HCN)、一酸化炭素(CO)、窒素酸化物ガス(NOx)、二酸化硫黄(SO2)、塩化水素(HCl)、及びフッ化水素(HF)の濃度について、煙を調査した。サンドイッチパネルA2をこのテストのテスト試料として用いた。
Pt.25、App.F、part.IVに従って、放熱を測定した。コーティング燃焼時に起こる総放熱、及び最大発生火力を測定した。サンドイッチパネルA2とアルミニウム板C2とをこのテストのテスト試料として用いた。

- プラスチック基板にバリア層を形成するためのコーティング材料からなるコーティングシステムであって、
前記コーティング材料は、ヒドロキシ官能性結合剤成分とイソシアネート含有硬化剤成分とを含有しており、
前記結合剤成分は、
ポリフェニレンエーテル、又はフッ素化エチレンとビニルエーテルとのコポリマーを含む水性ポリマーディスパージョン、
ガラス中空体、並びに
無機フィラー及び/又は無機顔料
を含有しており、
30〜50μmの乾燥膜厚を有する、コーティングシステム。 - 前記コーティング材料は、40〜80%、好ましくは50〜70%、特に好ましくは55〜65%の顔料体積濃度を有する、請求項1に記載のコーティングシステム。
- 前記結合剤成分は、前記結合剤成分の総重量を基準にして、10〜40重量%、好ましくは15〜35重量%、特に好ましくは20〜30重量%の量の前記ポリマーディスパージョンを含有する、請求項1又は2に記載のコーティングシステム。

- 前記結合剤成分は、前記結合剤成分の総体積を基準にして、10〜30体積%、好ましくは15〜25体積%、特に好ましくは16〜20体積%の前記ガラス中空体を含有する、請求項1〜4の1項に記載のコーティングシステム。
- 前記結合剤成分は、前記結合剤成分の総重量を基準にして、5〜40重量%の前記無機フィラー及び/又は無機顔料を含有する、請求項1〜5の1項に記載のコーティングシステム。
- 前記フィラーは、沈降炭酸カルシウム、バライト、沈降硫酸バリウム、タルカム、パイロフィライト、クロライト、ホルンブレンド、及びマイカからなる群より選ばれる、請求項6に記載のコーティングシステム。
- 前記顔料は、二酸化チタン、硫化亜鉛、リトポン、酸化亜鉛、酸化アンチモン、酸化鉄黄、ニッケルチタンイエロー、モリブデンオレンジ、酸化鉄赤、酸化銅、モリブデンレッド、ウルトラマリンレッド、混相赤、ミネラルバイオレット、マンガンバイオレット、ウルトラマリンバイオレット、アイアンブルー、ウルトラマリンブルー、コバルトブルー、酸化クロムグリーン、酸化クロム水和物グリーン、ウルトラマリングリーン、混相緑顔料、酸化鉄茶、混相茶、酸化鉄黒、硫化アンチモン、グラファイト、ガスブラック、サーマルブラック、ファーネスブラック、フレームブラック、及びアセチレンブラックからなる群より選ばれる、請求項6に記載のコーティングシステム。
- 前記結合剤成分は、難燃剤をさらに含み、該難燃剤は、Mg、Ca、Sr、Ba、Zn、及びAlの水酸化物、水和酸化物、及びリン酸塩、ポリリン酸アンモニウム、ホウ酸塩、ハロゲン含有有機難燃剤と組み合わせた酸化アンチモン、赤リン、ホウ砂、並びに膨張黒鉛からなる群から選ばれる、請求項1〜8の1項に記載のコーティングシステム。
- 前記硬化剤成分は、
ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート(MDI)、
トリレンジイソシアネート(TDI)、ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート(MDI)、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(HDI)、イソホロンジイソシアネート(IPDI)、4,4’−ジイソシアネートジシクロヘキシルメタン(HMDI)、m−キシリレンジイソシアネート(XDI)、1,6−ジイソシアネートトリメチルヘキサン(TMDI)、テトラメチルキシリレンジイソシアネート(TMXDI)由来のオリゴマ―又はポリマー、及び
それらの混合物
からなる群より選ばれるイソシアネートを含有する、請求項1〜9の1項に記載のコーティングシステム。 - 前記コーティング材料は、結合剤のOH基と硬化剤のNCO基とのモル比が1:0.8〜1:2.6の範囲で、結合剤成分と硬化剤成分とを有する、請求項1〜10の1項に記載のコーティングシステム。
- プラスチック基板又は繊維プラスチック複合材料基板の表面のプライマー塗布のための、請求項1〜11の1項に記載のコーティングシステム。
- プラスチック又は繊維プラスチック複合材料製部材にコーティングシステムを製造するための方法であって、
a 表面を準備するステップと、
b コーティング材料を塗布及び硬化するステップと、
c ワニスを塗布するステップと
を含み、
前記コーティング材料は、ヒドロキシ官能性結合剤成分とイソシアネート含有硬化剤成分とを含有しており、
前記結合剤成分は、
ポリフェニレンエーテル、又はフッ素化エチレンとビニルエーテルとのコポリマーを含む水性ポリマーディスパージョン、
ガラス中空体、並びに
無機フィラー及び/又は無機顔料
を含有しており、
前記コーティングシステムは、30〜50μmの乾燥膜厚を有する、
方法。 - 前記コーティング材料は、前記ステップbにおいて、静電印加法又は圧縮空気噴霧法によって塗布される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の少なくとも1つのコーティングシステムを含む、プラスチック又は繊維プラスチック複合材料の内部部材。
