Description
ガソリンは、比較的高い自然発火温度を有する。ガソリンエンジンは、一般的に火花点火によって作動し、通常は火花点火エンジンと呼ばれる。ディーゼル燃料は、比較的低い自然発火温度を有する。ディーゼルエンジンでは、ディーゼル燃料は、一般的に燃料噴射ポンプ及び燃料ノズルを通して直接エンジンシリンダー中に噴射され、その中で圧縮空気と混合される。混合物は、高温及び高圧下で自然発火して、ピストンを作動させる。ディーゼルエンジンは、通常は圧縮点火エンジンと呼ばれる。
レギュラーガソリンは、一般的に高オクタン価を有し、重要な化学物質として使用されるキシレン、エチルベンゼン、トルエン、メチル-エチルベンゼン又は他のベンゼン誘導体を含む。ガソリンのオクタン価は、抽出後、急激に減少し、市場のガソリン品質に対する要求を満たすことができない。これは、化学製品とガソリン製品との間での材料の奪い合いをもたらす。
ガソリンのオクタン価を改善するために、ガソリン供給業者は、時々ガソリンアンチノック添加剤を添加する。レギュラーガソリンアンチノック添加剤には、主にアルキル鉛、メチルシクロペンタジエニルマンガントリカルボニル(MMT)、メチルtert-ブチルエーテル(MTBE)、tert-アミルメチルエーテル、tert-ブチルアルコール及びエタノール等が含まれる。
一般的に、油中に含まれる5〜18の炭素鎖長を有する炭化水素化合物は、室温で液体である。例えば、C5H12〜C18H38の炭化水素は全て室温で液体である。しかしながら、19を超える炭素鎖長(C19)を有する炭化水素は室温で固体である。
以前は、ガソリンについての主な研究業務は、エンジンの圧縮比を増加させる要件を満たし、エンジンの効率を改善するために、どのようにガソリンのオクタン価及びその自然発火温度を改善するかに集中している。その代わりに、ガソリンのオクタン価及びその自然発火温度を下げることにより、ガソリンを圧縮点火することができる。この場合、低オクタン価を有するこの種のガソリンを使用したエンジンの圧縮比を有意に改善することができ、したがって、エンジンの熱変換効率を有意に増加させることができる。
(1)高効率的:低オクタン価を有するガソリンは、圧縮点火に使用することができるので、このガソリンを使用した内燃エンジンは高圧縮比及び高空気-燃料比を採用することができ、その圧縮比は14〜22にまでなり得る。そのため、新規なガソリン製品を使用した内燃エンジンの熱効率は、レギュラーガソリンエンジンの熱効率より高く、したがって、優れた燃費を有する。
低オクタン価を有する前記ガソリンの主留分は、直鎖アルカンの含量が高いほど、ガソリンのオクタン価が低い、C6〜C11アルカン及び少量のオレフィンであり;
前記ガソリンの留分を、C5〜C11又はC6〜C18又はC5〜C18を形成するために、C6〜C11に基づきC5〜C18に拡大することができ、種々の炭素鎖長を有する成分(直鎖アルカン及びその異性体、並びに少量のオレフィンを含む)の含量は互いに異なり、その特定の含量は市場及び使用者の要求によって任意選択により組み合わせることができるが、前記ガソリンは圧縮点火する前提条件を満たすべきである、ガソリン製品。
前記内燃エンジンが、軽質燃料油に必要な潤滑システム、燃料油貯蔵及び送達システム(ガソリンエンジンと類似)を備え、前記ガソリンを燃焼中に加圧シリンダー中に噴射するための加圧噴射システム(加圧燃料噴射ポンプ及び加圧燃料ノズル)も備える;又は
前記内燃エンジンが、過給デバイスを有する内燃エンジンなどのような、8〜16の圧縮比を有する;又は
前記内燃エンジンが、19〜22の圧縮比を有する、請求項1に記載のガソリン製品。
N-ヘプタン、N-ヘキサン及びガソリン93#を1:1:1の比で混合する。三つの成分の各々がそれぞれ全体の容積の3分の1を占める(これらが混合前に等容積を有する)場合、混合した燃料のオクタン価は約39.3である(ガソリン39#に相当する)。混合した燃料は、通常の温度及び圧力下で17.6の圧縮比を有するエンジンにより圧縮点火することができる。
芳香族炭化水素から抽出した後の抽残油(主成分は、改質油により芳香族炭化水素を除去した後、C6〜C11からなる)は、約58.7のオクタン価を有する。油は、通常の温度及び圧力下で17の圧縮比を有する295T内燃エンジンにより圧縮点火することができる。
C5留分(以降では「ガソリン留分」と呼ぶ)を、低オクタン価を有するガソリンの留分中に添加すると、混合した油は40のオクタン価を有する。この場合、この油は、2kg/cm2の加圧空気下で12の圧縮比を有するエンジンにより圧縮点火することができる。
灯油留分を、低オクタン価を有するガソリンの留分中に添加すると、混合した油は30のオクタン価を有する。この場合、この油は、通常の温度及び圧力下で17の圧縮比を有する内燃エンジンにより圧縮点火することができる。
ディーゼル留分(30%)を、低オクタン価を有するガソリンの留分(70%)に添加すると、混合した油は30のオクタン価を有する。この場合、この油は、通常の温度及び圧力下で18の圧縮比を有する493Q内燃エンジンにより圧縮点火することができる。
灯油留分(10%)及びディーゼル留分(50%)を、低オクタン価を有するガソリンの留分(40%)に添加すると、混合した油は40のオクタン価を有する。この場合、この油は、通常の温度及び圧力下で17の圧縮比を有する内燃エンジンにより圧縮点火することができる。
Claims (12)
- 30#〜58.7#のオクタン価を有し、拡散圧縮点火内燃エンジン中で圧縮点火することができ、前記拡散圧縮点火内燃エンジンのシリンダー中で燃焼させることができる、清澄で高効率且つ環境に優しいガソリン製品であって、
前記ガソリン製品を使用した前記拡散圧縮点火内燃エンジンの圧縮比は、14〜22であり、
前記拡散圧縮点火内燃エンジンは、軽質燃料油に必要とされ前記ガソリン製品を燃焼中に加圧シリンダー中に噴射することができる、ガソリンエンジンの潤滑システム、ガソリンエンジンの燃料貯蔵及び送達システム、並びにガソリンエンジンのガソリン噴射システムを備えることを除いて、ディーゼルエンジンの構造を有し、
前記ガソリン製品が、C5,C6,C7,C8,C9,C10,C11およびC12の炭化水素化合物を含む、ガソリン製品。 - ガソリン製品が、30#〜50#のオクタン価を有する、請求項1に記載のガソリン製品。
- ガソリン製品が、C5,C6,C7,C8,C9,C10およびC11の炭化水素化合物を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のガソリン製品。
- ガソリン製品が、C6,C7,C8,C9,C10,C11およびC12の炭化水素化合物を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のガソリン製品。
- ガソリン製品が、C6,C7,C8,C9,C10およびC11の炭化水素化合物を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のガソリン製品。
- ガソリン製品が、燃料エタノール又はジメチルエーテルを有するブレンド燃料である、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載ガソリン製品。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のガソリン製品を使用する方法であって、ガソリン製品を、ディーゼル油の噴霧性能及び完全燃焼性能を改善するための添加剤としてディーゼル油中に添加する、方法。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のガソリン製品を使用する方法であって、
ガソリン製品は、前記拡散圧縮点火内燃エンジンで使用され、
前記拡散圧縮点火内燃エンジンが、14〜22の圧縮比を有し、軽質燃料油に必要とされ前記ガソリン製品を燃焼中に加圧シリンダー中に噴射することができる、ガソリンエンジンの潤滑システム、ガソリンエンジンの燃料貯蔵及び送達システム、並びにガソリンエンジンのガソリン噴射システムを備える、方法。 - 前記拡散圧縮点火内燃エンジンが、16〜22の圧縮比を有する、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 30#〜58.7#のオクタン価を有し、拡散圧縮点火内燃エンジン中で圧縮点火することができ、前記拡散圧縮点火内燃エンジンのシリンダー中で燃焼させることができる、清澄で高効率且つ環境に優しい燃料製品であって、
前記燃料製品を使用した前記拡散圧縮点火内燃エンジンの圧縮比は、14〜22であり、
前記拡散圧縮点火内燃エンジンが、14〜22の圧縮比を有し、軽質燃料油に必要とされ前記ガソリン製品を燃焼中に加圧シリンダー中に噴射することができる、ガソリンエンジンの潤滑システム、ガソリンエンジンの燃料貯蔵及び送達システム、並びにガソリンエンジンのガソリン噴射システムを備えることを除いて、ディーゼルエンジンの構造を有し、
前記燃料製品が、C5,C6,C7,C8,C9,C10,C11,C12,C13,C14,C15,C16,C17およびC18の炭化水素化合物を含む、燃料製品。 - 前記燃料製品が、C6,C7,C8,C9,C10,C11,C12,C13,C14,C15,C16,C17およびC18の炭化水素化合物を含む、請求項10に記載の燃料製品。
- 燃料製品が、燃料エタノール又はジメチルエーテルを有するブレンド燃料である、請求項10乃至11のいずれかに記載の燃料製品。
