Description
膨張弁1は、アルミニウム合金からなる素材を押出成形して得た部材に所定の切削加工を施して得られたボディ2を有する。このボディ2は角柱状をなし、その内部には冷媒の絞り膨張を行う弁部が設けられている。ボディ2の長手方向の端部には、「駆動部」として機能するパワーエレメント3が設けられている。
図2は、シャフト33、挿通孔34およびその周辺の構造を表す図である。(A)は図1のA部拡大図である。(B)は図1のB部拡大図である。
Claims (4)
- 冷凍サイクルに設けられ、熱交換器を経て流入した冷媒を弁部を通過させることにより絞り膨張させて蒸発器へ供給する膨張弁であって、
冷媒を導入する導入ポートと、冷媒を導出する導出ポートと、前記導入ポートと前記導出ポートとをつなぐ冷媒通路に設けられた弁孔と、前記冷媒通路における前記弁孔の上流側に設けられた弁室と、を有する金属製のボディと、
前記弁室に設けられ、前記弁孔に接離して前記弁部を開閉する弁体と、
前記弁体を開閉させるための駆動力を発生する駆動部と、
前記ボディに前記弁孔と同軸状に形成された挿通孔を貫通するように設けられ、一端側が前記駆動部に接続され、他端側が前記弁孔を通って前記弁体に接続され、前記駆動部による軸線方向の駆動力を前記弁体に伝達するシャフトと、
を備え、
前記挿通孔は、
切削加工により前記ボディに形成され、
前記シャフトを支持する支持部と、
前記弁孔の下流側に向けて開口し、前記支持部よりも大径の拡径部と、
を含み、
前記支持部と前記シャフトとのクリアランスが、冷媒の漏れを抑制するクリアランスシールが実現される程度の大きさに設定され、
前記挿通孔における前記拡径部の開口端から離間した深さ位置にて、前記支持部と前記拡径部との境界部に面取りがなされており、
前記拡径部は、前記支持部よりも軸線方向の長さが小さく、
前記弁孔は、前記拡径部と同等以上の径を有することを特徴とする膨張弁。 - 前記弁室が前記弁孔と同軸状に形成され、
前記冷媒通路は、
前記弁孔の軸線に対して直角方向に延び、前記導入ポートと前記弁室とを接続する上流側通路と、
前記弁孔の軸線に対して直角方向に延び、前記弁孔と前記導出ポートとを接続する下流側通路と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の膨張弁。 - 前記シャフトは、前記下流側通路において縮径する段差部を有し、
前記段差部には前記弁孔に対向する対向面が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の膨張弁。 - 前記蒸発器から戻ってきた冷媒の圧力と温度を感知して前記弁部の開度を制御するとともに、その冷媒を圧縮機へ向けて導出する温度式膨張弁として機能し、
前記ボディは、前記導入ポートとして前記熱交換器からの冷媒を導入する第1導入ポートと、前記導出ポートとして冷媒を前記蒸発器へ導出する第1導出ポートと、前記冷媒通路として前記第1導入ポートと第1導出ポートとをつなぐ第1の通路と、前記蒸発器から戻ってきた冷媒を導入する第2導入ポートと、冷媒を前記圧縮機へ導出する第2導出ポートと、前記第2導入ポートと第2導出ポートとをつなぐ第2の通路と、を有し、
前記駆動部として、前記ボディの前記第2の通路に対して前記第1の通路とは反対側に設けられ、前記第2の通路を流れる冷媒の温度と圧力を感知して動作するパワーエレメントが設けられ、
前記シャフトは、前記第1の通路と前記第2の通路との間の隔壁に形成された前記挿通孔を貫通するように設けられ、一端側が前記第2の通路を横断して前記パワーエレメントに接続され、他端側が前記弁体に接続され、前記パワーエレメントの駆動力を前記弁体に伝達することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の膨張弁。
