Description
Claims (12)
- 流動電解質電池用電極板であって、
当該電極板に接続される1つ以上の破壊可能部を有し、
前記1つ以上の破壊可能部と当該電極板の他の部分との間の境界面は、溝又は一連の凹部を有し、かつ、
当該電極板の前記他の部分は、前記流動電解質電池のマニホールドの形状と一致する切り取り空間を画定する、
電極板。 - 請求項1に記載の電極板であって、前記1つ以上の破壊可能部が、当該電極板の1つ以上の隅に隣接して設けられる、電極板。
- 請求項1に記載の電極板であって、平坦で、かつ、上面と底面を有する、電極板。
- 請求項3に記載の電極板であって、前記底面の周辺部の端部が、試験用治具の封止体に抗するように封止するために実質的に平坦である、電極板。
- 請求項1に記載の電極板であって、前記溝が当該電極板の上面に形成される、電極板。
- 請求項1に記載の電極板であって、前記1つ以上の破壊可能部が当該電極板のポリマーの枠内で画定される、電極板。
- 請求項6に記載の電極板であって、前記ポリマーが高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)である、電極板。
- 電極板の製造及び試験、並びに、流動電解質電池用電池セル積層体の組立方法であって、
当該電極板内に1つ以上の破壊可能部を形成する段階であって、前記1つ以上の破壊可能部と当該電極板の他の部分との間の境界面は、溝又は一連の凹部を有する、段階、
前記破壊可能部にわたって延びる当該電極板の周辺部の周りに封止体を供する段階、
当該電極板の第1面の表面に隣接するように気体を与える段階、
前記気体が当該電極板の第2面の表面に隣接して存在するのか否かを検出する段階、
当該電極板から前記1つ以上の破壊可能部を取り除いて1つ以上の切り取り領域を画定する段階、
当該電極板を当該電池セル積層体内に設置する段階、及び、
1つ以上のマニホールドを前記1つ以上の切り取り領域に隣接するように前記電池セル積層体に取り付ける段階、
を有する、方法。 - 請求項8に記載の方法であって、前記気体は、当該電極板の上面に隣接するように与えられ、かつ、当該電極板の底面に隣接する領域を排気する段階をさらに有する、方法。
- 請求項8に記載の方法であって、前記気体が水素である、方法。
- 請求項9に記載の方法であって、当該電極板の底面に隣接する領域を排気する段階が、真空ポンプによって実行される、方法。
- 請求項8に記載の方法であって、前記1つ以上の破壊可能部が、当該電極板の高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)の枠内に画定される、方法。
