また、本発明の導光部材の製造方法は、長形の導光部材の製造方法であって、前記導光部材は、前記導光部材の長さ方向の端部に設けられた入光面と、前記導光部材の長さ方向に沿って設けられて前記入光面から入射した光を反射する反射面と、前記導光部材の長さ方向に沿って設けられて、前記反射面で反射した光を出射する出光面とを備え、前記反射面は、前記導光部材の長さ方向に並ぶ複数の溝形成域を備え、前記複数の溝形成域の夫々に前記入光面から入射した光を拡散させる拡散溝が前記導光部材の長さ方向に多数形成され、前記複数の溝形成域の夫々の前記多数の拡散溝は、前記導光部材の長さ方向に所定寸法離れて配置された2条の検査用溝と、多数の他の拡散溝とを含み、前記多数の他の拡散溝の夫々は、連続した一つの溝であり、前記2条の検査用溝の夫々の長さ方向における中間部が、前記溝加工の施されていない非溝加工部で構成され、前記導光部材の長さ方向において隣り合う前記溝形成域同士が一部重複し、前記複数の溝形成域の夫々の前記多数の他の拡散溝は、前記2条の検査用溝の間に位置する多数の拡散溝と、前記2条の検査用溝の外側に位置し、かつ、前記隣り合う溝形成域同士が重複した部分に位置する拡散溝とを含み、前記反射面に、前記複数の溝形成域の夫々に設定された加工パターンに基づいて、レーザー光を照射する溝加工を施すことにより、前記複数の溝形成域の夫々に、前記2条の検査用溝と、前記多数の他の拡散溝とを形成する、ことを特徴とする。
第3の特徴を有する導光部材1は、隣り合う溝形成域8のうち、一方の溝形成域8の検査用溝70と、他方の溝形成域8の検査用溝70の間隔を測定することで、当該隣り合う溝形成域8の重複する量を概ね確認できる。

Claims (3)
- 長形の導光部材であって、
前記導光部材の長さ方向の端部に設けられた入光面と、
前記導光部材の長さ方向に沿って設けられて前記入光面から入射した光を反射する反射面と、
前記導光部材の長さ方向に沿って設けられて、前記反射面で反射した光を出射する出光面とを備え、
前記反射面は、
前記導光部材の長さ方向に並ぶ複数の溝形成域を備え、
前記複数の溝形成域の夫々に設定された加工パターンに基づいて、前記反射面にレーザー光を照射する溝加工が施されることにより、前記複数の溝形成域の夫々に前記入光面から入射した光を拡散させる拡散溝が前記導光部材の長さ方向に多数形成され、
前記複数の溝形成域の夫々の前記多数の拡散溝は、
前記導光部材の長さ方向に所定寸法離れて配置された2条の検査用溝と、
多数の他の拡散溝とを含み、
前記多数の他の拡散溝の夫々は、連続した一つの溝であり、
前記2条の検査用溝の夫々の長さ方向における中間部が、前記溝加工の施されていない非溝加工部で構成され、
前記導光部材の長さ方向において隣り合う前記溝形成域同士が一部重複し、
前記複数の溝形成域の夫々の前記多数の他の拡散溝は、
前記2条の検査用溝の間に位置する多数の拡散溝と、
前記2条の検査用溝の外側に位置し、かつ、前記隣り合う溝形成域同士が重複した部分に位置する拡散溝とを含む、
ことを特徴とする導光部材。 - 長形の導光部材の製造方法であって、
前記導光部材は、
前記導光部材の長さ方向の端部に設けられた入光面と、
前記導光部材の長さ方向に沿って設けられて前記入光面から入射した光を反射する反射面と、
前記導光部材の長さ方向に沿って設けられて、前記反射面で反射した光を出射する出光面とを備え、
前記反射面は、
前記導光部材の長さ方向に並ぶ複数の溝形成域を備え、
前記複数の溝形成域の夫々に前記入光面から入射した光を拡散させる拡散溝が前記導光部材の長さ方向に多数形成され、
前記複数の溝形成域の夫々の前記多数の拡散溝は、
前記導光部材の長さ方向に所定寸法離れて配置された2条の検査用溝と、
多数の他の拡散溝とを含み、
前記多数の他の拡散溝の夫々は、連続した一つの溝であり、
前記2条の検査用溝の夫々の長さ方向における中間部が、溝加工の施されていない非溝加工部で構成され、
前記導光部材の長さ方向において隣り合う前記溝形成域同士が一部重複し、
前記複数の溝形成域の夫々の前記多数の他の拡散溝は、
前記2条の検査用溝の間に位置する多数の拡散溝と、
前記2条の検査用溝の外側に位置し、かつ、前記隣り合う溝形成域同士が重複した部分に位置する拡散溝とを含み、
前記反射面に、前記複数の溝形成域の夫々に設定された加工パターンに基づいて、レーザー光を照射する溝加工を施すことにより、前記複数の溝形成域の夫々に、前記2条の検査用溝と、前記多数の他の拡散溝とを形成する、
ことを特徴とする導光部材の製造方法。 - 前記検査用溝をレーザーの照射により形成する際に前記レーザーの出力を切る又は小さくすることで前記非溝加工部を設けることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の導光部材の製造方法。
