Claims (12)
- 赤画素、緑画素および青画素を含む複数の画素を有する有機EL表示装置であって、
基板と、
前記基板に支持され、それぞれが前記複数の画素のそれぞれに設けられた複数の有機EL素子と、
前記複数の画素を規定する略格子状の第1バンクであって、第1方向に延びる複数の第1部分と、前記第1方向に交差する第2方向に延びる複数の第2部分とを含む第1バンクと、
前記第1バンクの頂部上に設けられ、前記第1バンクの前記複数の第1部分と前記複数の第2部分との交差部には形成されていない複数の第2バンクであって、前記第1バンクよりも撥液性が高い複数の第2バンクと、を備える有機EL表示装置。 - 前記第1バンクは、テーパ形状を有する側面を含み、
前記複数の第2バンクは、前記第1バンクの前記側面を覆っていない、請求項1に記載の有機EL表示装置。 - 前記複数の第2バンクは、着色されている、請求項1または2に記載の有機EL表示装置。
- 前記第1バンクは、非フッ素系・非シリコーン系の樹脂から形成されている、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の有機EL表示装置。
- 前記第1バンクは、感光性を有するアクリル樹脂、ポリアミドまたはポリイミドから形成されている、請求項4に記載の有機EL表示装置。
- 前記複数の第2バンクは、ネガ型の感光性を有するアクリル樹脂またはポリアミドから形成されている、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の有機EL表示装置。
- 前記複数の第2バンクは、撥液材料を含んでいるか、または、表面に撥液処理が施されている、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の有機EL表示装置。
- 前記複数の第2バンクは、前記複数の画素のうちの互いに隣接する2つの画素であって、互いに異なる色の2つの画素間に位置する第2バンクを含む、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の有機EL表示装置。
- 前記複数の画素は、互いに隣接する2つの画素であって、互いに同じ色の2つの画素を含むように配置されており、
前記複数の第2バンクは、互いに同じ色の前記2つの画素間に位置する第2バンクを含む、請求項8に記載の有機EL表示装置。 - 前記複数の画素は、互いに隣接する2つの画素であって、互いに同じ色の2つの画素を含むように配置されており、
前記複数の第2バンクは、互いに同じ色の前記2つの画素間に位置する第2バンクを含まない、請求項8に記載の有機EL表示装置。 - 前記複数の有機EL素子のそれぞれは、第1電極と、前記第1電極上に設けられた有機EL層と、前記有機EL層上に設けられた第2電極とを含み、
前記有機EL層は、積層された複数の印刷膜を含む、請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の有機EL表示装置。 - 前記複数の有機EL素子のそれぞれは、第1電極と、前記第1電極上に設けられた有機EL層と、前記有機EL層上に設けられた第2電極とを含み、
前記有機EL層は、積層された複数の蒸着膜を含む、請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の有機EL表示装置。
