Claims (1)
- 正極帯状シート及び負極帯状シートの少なくとも一方の電極表面にセパレータ層を形成するセパレータ層形成工程と、
前記正極帯状シート及び前記負極帯状シートのそれぞれを送りローラにより連続的に送り出しながら前記正極帯状シート又は前記負極帯状シートを裁断する第1の裁断工程と、
裁断された正極シート又は負極シートを未裁断の前記負極帯状シート又は前記正極帯状シート上に前記セパレータ層を介在させて重ねて配置し、クランプローラにより送り出しながらクランプするクランプ工程と、
未裁断の前記負極帯状シート又は前記正極帯状シートをそれに重ねて配置された前記正極シート又は前記負極シートの裁断隙間にて裁断することにより、重ねて配置された前記正極シートと前記負極シートとを含むシートユニットを得る第2の裁断工程と、
前記シートユニットの重ね形状を計測し、前記重ね形状の良否を判定する重ね形状判定工程と、
前記良否の判定結果に応じて前記シートユニットを良品と不良品とに分別配置する分別工程と、
前記シートユニットの良品を複数組積層しプレスすることにより積層電極体を得るプレス工程と
を備え、
前記第1の裁断工程における裁断は、前記送りローラに設けられた裁断刃により行われるように構成し、
前記送りローラによる第1の送り速度をV1とし、前記クランプローラによる第2の送り速度をV2とすると、V1とV2が以下の式(1)の関係を満たし、
前記クランプローラは、互いに接する一対のローラを含み、その一方のローラの外周に軸方向に延びる切欠きが形成され、
前記クランプローラの回転時に、前記一方のローラの前記切欠きにより前記クランプローラを一時的にアンクランプな状態とすることにより、前記第1の送り速度と前記第2の送り速度との速度差を吸収するように構成され、
前記正極帯状シートの厚さをTとし、前記裁断刃による前記正極帯状シートの裁断深さをDとすると、TとDが以下の式(2)の関係を満たす
ことを特徴とする積層電極体の製造方法。
