前記一般式(1)において、
Mは、Ni以外の1種類以上の金属であり、
aは、1.0≦a≦1.2であり、
bは、0.5≦b≦1.0である。
まず、本発明の一実施形態に係るリチウムイオン二次電池の概要について説明を行う。
ただし、上記一般式(1)において、Mは、Ni以外の1種類以上の金属であり、aは、1.0≦a≦1.2であり、bは、0.5≦b≦1.0である。
以下では、図1を参照して、上述した本発明の一実施形態に係るリチウムイオン二次電池10の具体的な構成について説明を行う。図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係るリチウムイオン二次電池の構成を説明する説明図である。
続いて、リチウムイオン二次電池10の製造方法について説明する。
実施例1に係るリチウムイオン二次電池を以下の方法にて製造した。まず、LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O298質量部、ポリフッ化ビニリデン1質量部、カーボンブラック1質量部をN−メチル−2−ピロリドンに分散させることで、スラリーを形成した。続いて、スラリーを集電体であるアルミニウム箔上に塗工し、乾燥させて正極活物質層とすることで正極を製造した。
実施例1と同様の方法で、実施例2〜18、比較例1〜12に係るリチウムイオン二次電池を製造した。ここで、実施例2〜18、比較例1〜12は、実施例1に対して、添加剤として加えた化合物およびその濃度がそれぞれ異なる。なお、添加剤として加えた化合物およびその濃度については、表1および2にて示す。ここで、表1および2において、「VC」はビニレンカーボネートのことを表し、「VEC」はビニルエチレンカーボネートのことを表す。また、「−」は、対応する添加剤を添加しなかったことを表す。
実施例1と同様の方法で、実施例19〜23、比較例13〜17に係るリチウムイオン二次電池を製造した。ここで、実施例19は、実施例1のLiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2に替えて、LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2を正極活物質として用いたことのみが異なる。また、実施例20〜23、比較例13〜17は、実施例19に対して、添加剤として加えた化合物およびその濃度がそれぞれ異なる。なお、添加剤として加えた化合物およびその濃度については表3にて示す。ここで、表3における表記は、表1および2と同様である。
実施例1と同様の方法で、実施例24〜26、比較例18〜20に係るリチウムイオン二次電池を製造した。ここで、実施例24は、実施例1のLiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2に替えて、LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2を正極活物質として用いたことのみが異なる。また、実施例25および26、比較例18〜20は、実施例21に対して、添加剤として加えた化合物およびその濃度がそれぞれ異なる。なお、添加剤として加えた化合物およびその濃度については表4にて示す。ここで、表4における表記は、表1および2と同様である。
続いて、上記で製造した実施例1〜26、比較例1〜20に係るリチウムイオン二次電池に対して高温保存試験を行った。具体的には、リチウムイオン二次電池に対して、電池電圧が4.2VとなるまでCC−CV充電(定電流定電圧充電)を行い、満充電後に60℃の温度環境下に60日間放置した。また、放置前後で、リチウムイオン二次電池の直流抵抗、容量、体積を測定し、高温保存による直流抵抗増加率、回復容量(すなわち、放置前後での容量維持率)、ガス発生量(すなわち、放置前後での体積増加量)を算出した。

Claims (3)
- リチウムニッケル複合酸化物を含む正極活物質と、
下記化学式(1)で表される環状ジスルホン酸エステル、および下記化学式(2)で表される鎖状ジスルホン酸エステルからなる群より選択された少なくとも1種以上のジスルホン酸エステルと、ビニレンカーボネートおよびビニルエチレンカーボネートからなる群より選択された少なくとも1種以上の不飽和結合を有するカーボネートと、下記化学式(3)で表されるイミドリチウム塩と、を含有する非水電解液と、を含み、
前記非水電解液は、前記ジスルホン酸エステルを前記非水電解液の総質量に対して0.05質量%以上0.5質量%以下で含有し、前記不飽和結合を有するカーボネートを前記非水電解液の総質量に対して0.2質量%以上1.5質量%以下で含有する、リチウムイオン二次電池。
前記化学式(3)において、Rf 1 およびRf 2 は、フッ素を表す。 - 前記化学式(1)および(2)において、
R1およびR2は、互いに独立して、置換または非置換の炭素数1または2のアルキレン基であり、R3およびR4は、互いに独立して、置換または非置換のメチル基、および置換または非置換のフルオロメチル基から選択された1つであり、xおよびyは、互いに独立して、1〜3から選択された整数である、請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。 - 前記リチウムニッケル複合酸化物は、下記の一般式(1)で示される組成を有する、請求項1又は2に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
