Claims (3)
- 第1電極と第2電極との間に電解質膜を挟持するとともに、前記第1電極を構成する第1電極触媒層の外形寸法は、前記電解質膜の外形寸法及び前記第2電極を構成する第2電極触媒層の外形寸法よりも小さな寸法に設定される電解質膜・電極構造体の水分を検出する燃料電池用水分検出装置であって、
前記第1電極触媒層の外周端部を含んで前記外周端部の内側から該外周端部の外側に至る領域に配置される複数個の電位センサと、
各電位センサの出力値から前記領域内の位置と電位との関係を示す電位曲線を求め、基準となる電位曲線の電位の中間位置に設定された基準位置に対する、求めた前記電位曲線のシフト量に基づいて、電位曲線と水分量との関係を示す校正曲線を参照し、前記電解質膜・電極構造体の水分量を検出する制御部と、
を備えることを特徴とする燃料電池用水分検出装置。 - 請求項1記載の水分検出装置において、前記第1電極は、カソード電極であるとともに、前記第2電極は、アノード電極であり、
前記制御部は、前記カソード電極の単極電位に基づいて前記水分量を検出することを特徴とする燃料電池用水分検出装置。 - 請求項1記載の水分検出装置において、前記第1電極は、アノード電極であるとともに、前記第2電極は、カソード電極であり、
前記制御部は、前記アノード電極の単極電位に基づいて前記水分量を検出することを特徴とする燃料電池用水分検出装置。
