Description
インナ側の転動体30a及び保持器32aを外方部材20のインナ側軌道22aに組み付ける。
組み付けたインナ側転動体30a列の内側を通して、アクスル10aを軸部14側から挿入し、インナ側転動体30aを軌道12aに着座させる。
外方部材20のアウタ側軌道22bにアウタ側保持器32aを配置しておき、アウタ側転動体30bを組み込む。このとき、リブ26の最小内径φBはアウタ側保持器32aの外径よりも大きいため(φA<φB)、アウタ側保持器32bの通過が許容される。
その後、軌道輪10bを内方部材10の軸部14にはめ合わせて、図4に関連して上に述べたように軸部14の端部の縁東部15をかしめ、かしめ部16となす。

Claims (4)
- 2列の転動体を介して相対回転自在の内方部材及び外方部材を有し、前記内方部材は固定側、前記外方部材は回転側であり、前記外方部材は車輪を取り付けるためのハブフランジを外周に備えている車輪軸受装置において、
前記内方部材は、インナ側の端部にナックルの穴に挿入するためのパイロット外径を有し、前記外方部材は、中空で、前記ハブフランジ側の端部にパイロット部を有し、前記パイロット部の内径側に回転駆動力を受けるケレとしてのリブが設けてあり、このリブが前記パイロットの内周面の内端とアウタ側軌道との間に位置すると共に半径方向内側に突出し、前記リブの最小内径が、前記2列の転動体のうちのアウタ側の転動体のための保持器の外径よりも大きいことを特徴とする車輪軸受装置。 - 前記内方部材は、互いに別体のアクスルと軌道輪とからなり、前記2列の転動体のための2列の軌道のうち、インナ側の軌道は前記アクスルに形成し、アウタ側の軌道は前記軌道輪に形成してある請求項1の車輪軸受装置。
- 前記軌道輪は、前記アクスルの軸部とはめ合わせ、前記軸部の端部にかしめ加工を施すことにより前記内方部材に固定してある請求項2の車輪軸受装置。
- 前記かしめ加工は搖動かしめ加工であって、前記リブ部の最小内径はかしめパンチの搖動範囲よりも大きい請求項3の車輪軸受装置。
