Claims (3)
- 電解質膜の両側に電極が配設されてなる電解質膜・電極構造体と前記電解質膜・電極構造体の両側に配設された金属セパレータとを有する発電セルが複数積層された積層体を備え、
前記金属セパレータには、前記電解質膜・電極構造体の外周部又は前記外周部に設けられた枠部に接触するように前記積層体の積層方向に向かって突出したシール用ビード部が形成され、
前記積層体の積層方向両側には、前記シール用ビード部が弾性変形するように前記積層体を前記積層方向に挟持するインシュレータ及びエンドプレートが配設されている燃料電池スタックであって、
前記インシュレータ又は前記エンドプレートには、前記積層方向の最端部に位置する前記金属セパレータの前記シール用ビード部に当接する弾性シール部材が設けられ、
前記金属セパレータには、
前記電極に反応ガスを供給するためのガス流路と、
前記反応ガス及び冷却媒体が流通する複数の連通孔と、が形成され、
前記シール用ビード部は、前記ガス流路を周回するとともに前記連通孔の周囲に設けられている、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池スタックにおいて、
前記インシュレータ又は前記エンドプレートにおける前記積層体に向かう面には、前記弾性シール部材が配設される凹部が形成されている、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の燃料電池スタックにおいて、
前記積層方向の最端部に位置する前記金属セパレータは、前記電解質膜・電極構造体の前記外周部又は前記枠部における前記積層方向の最端部に位置する当該金属セパレータとは反対側を指向する面に接触する前記金属セパレータと同一構成である、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。
