Description
上記特許文献1に記載された停車制御装置においては、停車制御による制動力の増大量が車両の移動を阻止する所定の値になるまで車両の制動力が増大されるため、高圧の作動液体が流動することによる異音が発生することがある。例えば、運転者により制動操作が行われている状況にて停車制御が行われることにより、車両の制動力が運転者の制動操作による制動力と所定の値との和になるように増大される場合には、車両の制動力が非常に高い値になるため、異音が顕著になる。また、制動装置が電動ポンプ式の制動装置であり、制動力の増大時に電動ポンプが駆動されることによって作動液体が高圧に加圧される場合には、ポンプの駆動による作動音も発生する。そのため、停車制御により制動力が増大される際に発生する異音は、制動装置が上記の電動ポンプ式の制動装置である場合には、制動装置がアキュムレータ式の制動装置である場合に比して、異音が顕著である。
本発明によれば、各車輪に設けられたホイールシリンダへ高圧の作動液体を供給することにより車輪に制動力を付与する制動装置と、自車両と先行車両との間の車間距離を制御する車間距離制御装置と、を有する車両に適用され、車間距離制御装置から自車両の停車要求が出力されると、制動装置を制御し車輪に付与される制動力を増大させる制動制御装置を有する車両用停車制御装置が提供される。
本発明の一つの態様においては、制動装置は、作動液体を加圧する電動ポンプを含み、ホイールシリンダへ高圧の作動液体を供給する際には、電動ポンプを駆動し、停車要求の制動力を維持する際には、電動ポンプを停止する。
Claims (2)
- 各車輪に設けられたホイールシリンダへ高圧の作動液体を供給することにより車輪に制動力を付与する制動装置と、自車両と先行車両との間の車間距離を制御する車間距離制御装置と、を有する車両に適用され、前前記車間距離制御装置から自車両の停車要求が出力されると、前記制動装置を制御し車輪に付与される制動力を増大させる制動制御装置を有する車両用停車制御装置において、
前記制動制御装置は、車両全体の車輪の実際の制動力が運転者の制動操作による制動力と漸次増大する停車要求の制動力との和になるように前記制動装置を制御し、車両全体の車輪の実際の制動力が自車両を停車状態に維持するための値として予め設定された基準制動力を越えていると判定したときには、停車要求の制動力を、車両全体の車輪の実際の制動力が前記基準制動力を越えたと判定したときの値に維持する、車両用停車制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の車両用停車制御装置において、前記制動装置は、作動液体を加圧する電動ポンプを含み、前記ホイールシリンダへ高圧の作動液体を供給する際には、前記電動ポンプを駆動し、停車要求の制動力を維持する際には、前記電動ポンプを停止する、車両用停車制御装置。
