Claims (22)
- コーティングを含む少なくともひとつの摺動面を有するピストンリングであって、前記コーティングは、内側から外側に向かって、金属含有接着層およびDLC層を備え、前記DLC層は、
接着層から隣接するDLC被覆層へ延在し、かつ、98.5原子パーセント以上の炭素含有量、0.5原子パーセント未満の酸素含有量および/または0.5原子パーセント未満の水素含有量および/または0.5原子パーセント未満の窒素含有量、ならびに、1と3の間の炭素のsp2/sp3比を有するDLCメイン層と、
前記DLCメイン層から前記ピストンリングの表面に向かって延在し、前記DLCメイン層に比べより低い炭素含有量および/またはより高い酸素含有量および/またはより高い水素含有量を有し、金属および/または金属酸化物を有し、ならびに、1と3の間の炭素のsp2/sp3比を有するDLC被覆層と、
を備えることを特徴とするピストンリング。 - 前記DLC層は、1.05から2の炭素のsp2/sp3比を有する、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記DLC被覆層は、鉄および/または酸化鉄を含む、請求項1または2に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記酸化鉄は、FeOおよび/またはFe3O4である、請求項3に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記DLC被覆層は、30原子パーセント以下の鉄含有量を有する、請求項3または4に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記DLC被覆層は、25原子パーセント以上の炭素含有量を有する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記DLC被覆層は、50原子パーセント以下の酸素含有量を有する、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記DLC被覆層の表面は以下の炭素酸素結合特性を有する、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のピストンリング。
C−O結合 20原子パーセントから30原子パーセント
C=O結合 8原子パーセントから30原子パーセント、
O−C=O結合 6原子パーセントから10原子パーセント - 前記DLC被覆層の表面のC=O結合は、10原子パーセントから15原子パーセントである、請求項8に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記コーティングの表面に配置された金属および/または金属酸化物は、5から40%の表面部分を有する、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記コーティングの表面に配置された金属および/または金属酸化物は、5から25%の表面部分を有する、請求項10に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記DLC被覆層は、2μm以下の厚さを有する、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記DLC被覆層は、1μm以下の厚さを有する、請求項12に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記DLCメイン層は、5μmから40μmの厚さを有する、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記金属含有量および/または酸素含有量および/または前記水素含有量は、前記DLC被覆層から外側に向かって増加する、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記DLC層は、1800から3500HV0.02の硬度を有する、請求項1から15のいずれか一項に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記DLC層は、150から320GPaの弾性係数を有する、請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記DLC層は、平均粗さの深さRzが2μm未満であり、減少したピークの高さRpkが0.15μm未満である、請求項1から17のいずれか一項に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記DLC層は、平均粗さの深さRzが1μm未満であり、減少したピークの高さRpkが0.1μm未満である、請求項18に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記接着層は0.05から1.0μmの厚さを有する、請求項1から19のいずれか一項に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記接着層は、クロムまたはチタンを含む、請求項1から20のいずれか一項に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記ピストンリングの基材は、鋳鉄または鋼である、請求項1から21のいずれか一項に記載のピストンリング。
