Abstract
Description
Claims (18)
- 摺動エレメント、特に、コーティングを含む少なくともひとつの摺動面を有するピストンリングであって、前記コーティングは、内側から外側に向かって、金属含有接着層およびDLC層を備え、前記DLC層は、アモルファス無水素ダイヤモンド・ライク・カーボン層であり、当該層は、
接着層から隣接するDLC被覆層へ延在し、かつ、約98.5原子パーセント以上の炭素含有量、それぞれ約0.5原子パーセント未満の酸素および/または水素および/または窒素、ならびに、約1と約3の間の炭素のsp2/sp3比を有するDLCメイン層と、
前記DLCメイン層から前記摺動エレメントの表面に向かって延在し、前記メイン層に比べより低い炭素含有量および/またはより高い酸素含有量および/またはより高い水素含有量を有し、金属および/または金属酸化物を有し、ならびに、約1と約3の間の炭素のsp2/sp3比を有するDLC被覆層と、
を備えることを特徴とする摺動エレメント。 - 前記DLC層は好適には、約1.05から約2の炭素のsp2/sp3比を有する、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記DLC被覆層は、鉄および/または酸化鉄を含む、請求項1または2に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記酸化鉄は、FeOおよび/またはFe3O4である、請求項3に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記DLC被覆層は、約30原子パーセント以下の鉄含有量を有する、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記DLC被覆層は約25原子パーセント以上の炭素含有量を有する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記DLC被覆層は、約50原子パーセント以下の酸素含有量を有する、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記DLC被覆層の表面は以下の炭素酸素結合特性を有する、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
C−O結合 約20原子パーセントから約30原子パーセント
C=O結合 約8原子パーセントから約30原子パーセント、好適には、約10原子パーセントから約15原子パーセント
O−C=O結合 約6原子パーセントから約10原子パーセント - 前記コーティングの表面に配置された金属および/または金属酸化物は、約5から40%の表面部分、好適には、約5から25%の表面部分を有する、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記DLC被覆層は、約2μm以下の厚さ、好適には約1μm以下の厚さを有する、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記DLCメイン層は約5μmから約40μmの厚さを有する、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記金属含有量および/または酸素含有量および/または前記水素含有量は、前記DLC被覆層から外側に向かって増加する、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記DLC層は約1800から3500HV0.02の硬度を有する、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記DLC層は、約150から320GPaの弾性係数を有する、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記DLC層は、平均粗さの深さRzが約2μm未満であり、好適には、1μm未満であり、減少したピークの高さRpkが約0.15μm未満であり、好適には約0.1μm未満である、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記接着層は約0.05から約1.0μmの厚さを有する、請求項1から15のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記接着層は、クロムまたはチタンを含む、請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
- 前記摺動エレメントの基材は、鋳鉄または鋼である、請求項1から17のいずれか一項に記載の摺動エレメント。
