Abstract
Description

Claims (13)
- ガスタービンエンジン用のシールアセンブリであって、
炭素材料を含むシールと、
前記シールに対して回転するように配置されたシールシートであって、前記シールおよび前記シールシートがそれぞれ一緒になって摺動シールを画定するシール面を有し、前記シールシートの前記シール面に炭素膜をさらに含む、シールシートと、
を備えた、シールアセンブリ。 - 前記炭素膜が、sp2含有量およびsp3含有量を有するDLC膜を含み、前記sp2含有量が前記sp3含有量よりも大きい、請求項1に記載のシールアセンブリ。
- 前記炭素膜が100nm〜200nmの厚さを有する、請求項2に記載のシールアセンブリ。
- 前記炭素膜に、耐摩耗性を高める炭化物形成金属がドープされた、請求項1に記載のシールアセンブリ。
- 前記炭化物形成金属が、タングステン、シリコン、クロム、モリブデン、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項4に記載のシールアセンブリ。
- 前記炭化物形成金属が、タングステン、シリコン、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項4に記載のシールアセンブリ。
- 前記シールがエレクトログラファイト級の炭素を含む、請求項1に記載のシールアセンブリ。
- 前記シールの前記シール面と前記シールシートの前記シール面とが、0.1未満の摩擦係数を有する、請求項1に記載のシールアセンブリ。
- 回転性要素および固定されたシール保持具と、
請求項1に記載のシールアセンブリであって、前記シールが前記シール保持具によって保持され、前記シールシートが前記回転性要素に取り付けられている、シールアセンブリと、
を備えた、ガスタービンエンジン。 - シールアセンブリの作成方法であって、
シールシートに対してシールを配置することであって、前記シールが炭素材料を含み、前記シールシートが、前記シールに対して回転するように配置され、前記シールと前記シールシートとがそれぞれ、一緒になって摺動シールを画定するシール面を有する、シールを配置することと、
前記シールシートの前記シール面に炭素膜を堆積することと、
のステップを含む、方法。 - 前記配置するステップの前に前記堆積するステップが実行される、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記シールに対して前記シールシートを回転させるステップをさらに含み、それにより前記シールから前記シールシートに炭素転写膜が前記炭素膜を覆って堆積される、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記炭素膜が、物理的気相成長によって前記シールシートの前記シール面に被着される、請求項10に記載の方法。
