次に、本発明の第2の実施の形態について説明する。始めに、図15を参照して、本実施の形態に係る補正装置の構成について説明する。本実施の形態に係る角度センサ1は、第1の実施の形態に係る補正装置3の代わりに、本実施の形態に係る補正装置103を備えている。図15は、補正装置103および角度検出部4の構成を示す機能ブロック図である。本実施の形態に係る補正装置103は、A/D変換器131,132と、補正処理部133と、指標値生成部134と、補正情報決定部135とを備えている。

Claims (9)
- それぞれ検出対象の角度と対応関係を有する複数の検出信号を生成する検出信号生成部と、前記複数の検出信号に基づいて前記検出対象の角度と対応関係を有する角度検出値を生成する角度検出部とを備えた角度センサに用いられる補正装置であって、
前記補正装置は、
前記複数の検出信号に対して、補正情報によって内容が決定される補正処理であって、補正処理を行わない場合に比べて前記角度検出値の誤差を低減する補正処理を行う補正処理部と、
前記複数の検出信号に基づいて、前記角度検出値の誤差と対応関係を有する指標値を生成する指標値生成部と、
補正情報決定部とを備え、
前記補正情報決定部は、前記補正情報と対応関係を有する1つ以上の値を変数とした関数を用いて、前記指標値の推定値である推定指標値を生成すると共に、適応信号処理によって、前記指標値と前記推定指標値との差が小さくなるように、前記補正情報を決定することを特徴とする角度センサの補正装置。 - 前記補正情報決定部が前記推定指標値を生成するために用いる前記関数は、前記角度検出値を他の変数とするものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の角度センサの補正装置。
- 前記複数の検出信号は、第1の検出信号と第2の検出信号であり、
前記検出対象の角度が所定の周期で変化する場合、前記第1の検出信号は第1の理想成分を含み、前記第2の検出信号は第2の理想成分を含み、
前記第1の理想成分と前記第2の理想成分は、互いに90°異なる位相で、理想的な正弦曲線を描くように周期的に変化することを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の角度センサの補正装置。 - 前記指標値生成部は、前記第1の検出信号の二乗と前記第2の検出信号の二乗との和の平方根を求める演算を含む演算を行って、前記指標値を生成することを特徴とする請求項3記載の角度センサの補正装置。
- 前記補正処理部は、前記複数の検出信号を、前記角度検出部において前記角度検出値を算出するための角度演算に用いられる第1の演算用信号および第2の演算用信号に変換し、
前記指標値生成部は、前記第1の演算用信号の二乗と前記第2の演算用信号の二乗との和の平方根を求める演算を含む演算を行って、前記指標値を生成することを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の角度センサの補正装置。 - 前記適応信号処理は、再帰的最小二乗アルゴリズムを用いることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の角度センサの補正装置。
- 前記検出対象の角度は、基準位置における磁界の方向が基準方向に対してなす角度であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の角度センサの補正装置。
- 前記検出対象の角度の変化の範囲は360°未満であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載の角度センサの補正装置。
- それぞれ検出対象の角度と対応関係を有する複数の検出信号を生成する検出信号生成部と、
前記複数の検出信号に基づいて前記検出対象の角度と対応関係を有する角度検出値を生成する角度検出部と、
請求項1ないし8のいずれかに記載の補正装置とを備えたことを特徴とする角度センサ。
