なお、以下の説明では、回転電機の一例として、ハイブリッド電気自動車の駆動に用いられる電動機を用いる。ただし、本発明はハイブリッド電気自動車の駆動用以外の回転電機に適用することも可能である。例えば、電気自動車の駆動用以外の回転電機、その他自動車の回転電機、その他輸送機械、産業機械、インフラ機器、医療機器、生活家電、検査・分析機器の回転電機などに用いることも可能である。

Claims (7)
- 内径側に固定子を圧入可能なように構成され、外径側表面に内筒側テーパ面を有する内筒と、
前記内筒側テーパ面と嵌合する外筒側テーパ面を内径側に有する外筒と、
を備え、
前記内筒の軸方向端部に前端板と後端板とが設けられ、
前記外筒の軸方向長さが、前記固定子の軸方向長さに前記内筒側テーパ面及び前記外筒側テーパ面の加工公差による最小位置ずれ量と最大位置ずれ量とを加えた長さであり、
前記最小位置ずれ量と前記最大位置ずれ量とを加えた長さの前記外筒の軸方向端部と、前記前端板及び後端板の前記外筒側の面との間をそれぞれ0mm以上とした回転電機のハウジング。 - 請求項1に記載の回転電機のハウジングにおいて、
前記内筒の内径は、前記固定子の外径より小さく、
組み付け後に互いに圧接する部分における、前記内筒の外径及び前記外筒の内径は、前記内筒と前記外筒を組み付ける前の状態で、前記外筒より前記内筒が大きく、
前記内筒の外径と前記外筒の内径との差が、前記内筒の内径と前記固定子の外径との差より大きい回転電機のハウジング。 - 請求項1に記載の回転電機のハウジングにおいて、
前記内筒には前記固定子の積厚の範囲内でのみテーパ面を設け、
前記外筒は内径の軸方向全域にテーパ面を設けた回転電機のハウジング。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の回転電機のハウジングにおいて、
前記内筒の外径側表面に、冷媒流路が形成された回転電機のハウジング。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の回転電機のハウジングにおいて、
前記固定子の軸方向端面を含む面に最も近い流路壁を端部流路壁、前記端部流路壁よりも前記固定子の軸方向中心側に位置する流路壁を中央部流路壁としたとき、
前記中央部流路壁の軸方向長さが、前記面と前記端部流路壁とにより規定される端部流路壁の軸方向長さより長く、前記中央部流路壁の外径側における前記内筒の外径と前記外筒の内径との差が、前記端部流路壁の外径側における前記内筒の外径と前記外筒の内径との差より大きい回転電機のハウジング。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の回転電機のハウジングにおいて、
ハウジングがアルミ材、鉄材、銅材、チタン材、樹脂材のいずれかで製作された回転電機のハウジング。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のハウジングを備えた回転電機。
