Claims (5)
- 第1基板と、
前記第1基板上に位置する有機発光素子と、
前記有機発光素子上に位置する第2基板と、
前記第2基板と前記有機発光素子との間に位置し、前記有機発光素子から発光した光を、前記有機発光素子に対応する前記第2基板方向に集光するキャッピング層と、を含み、
前記キャッピング層は、前記有機発光素子と離隔して前記第2基板と接触する高屈折層、前記高屈折層と前記有機発光素子との間に位置し、前記高屈折層に比べて屈折率が小さい低屈折層、及び前記高屈折層と前記低屈折層との間に位置し、前記高屈折層の屈折率と前記低屈折層の屈折率との間の屈折率を有する中屈折層を含むことを特徴とする有機発光表示装置であって、
前記有機発光素子は、
前記第1基板上に位置する第1電極と、
前記第1電極上に位置し、前記光を発光する有機発光層と、
前記有機発光層上に位置する第2電極と、を含み、
前記キャッピング層は、前記有機発光層から前記第1電極を外れる方向に照射される前記光を、前記第1電極に対応する第2基板方向に集光し、
前記第1電極は複数個であり、
前記複数の第1電極のそれぞれは互いに離隔しており、
前記有機発光層は、白色の前記光を発光し、
前記第2基板は、
それぞれが前記複数の第1電極のそれぞれに対応して位置する複数のカラーフィルタと、
前記複数のカラーフィルタの間に位置するブラックマトリックスと、を含み、
前記キャッピング層は、前記有機発光層から前記カラーフィルタを外れる方向に照射される前記光を、前記カラーフィルタ方向に集光する、ことを特徴とする有機発光表示装置。 - 前記第1電極は光反射性電極であり、
前記第2電極は光透過性電極であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記複数のカラーフィルタは、
第1色を有する第1カラーフィルタと、
前記ブラックマトリックスを挟んで前記第1カラーフィルタと離隔し、第2色を有する第2カラーフィルタと、
前記ブラックマトリックスを挟んで前記第2カラーフィルタと離隔し、第3色を有する第3カラーフィルタと、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記低屈折層は空気層であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記中屈折層は、前記高屈折層および前記低屈折層のそれぞれと接触することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。
